I have the bigger bro to this (320cm). This is a perfect match for packages you need low, such as shooting on a objects on a floor or a short copy stand. See the pix 1) 172cm in front of big bro, both of them at minimum 2) 172cm extended to full height 3) 172cm shown with a softbox hitting the ceiling (could have gone higher). The extension arm is a little shorter too, but long enough and still has both grip heads. They both have the exact same turtle-base, foam grip, spring action, high quality grips, and steel. This is a solid unit that could even be your first c-stand if you don't need more height. Takes the same accessories on the stand, either end of the extension arm, and/or the 2nd grip mounted to the arm. Heavy duty, with more than twice the capacity of cheap light stands.

Superb Small C-StandWell-built and designed small heavy-duty C-Stand. With a maximum height of 68 inches and arm that's 33 inches, this is best suited for seated interviews or tabletop work. Although it won't be overhead, you can use it for a standing shot. With a maximum 17 lb load, it can hold a reasonable COB light and SoftBox or perhaps a small china ball or a shotgun mic. Consider sandbags if you're approaching the maximum load.With 1/4 inch on one end of the arm and 3/8 inch on the other, it should also fit many standard attachments. Keep in mind to extend the correct part of the arm. The turtle legs have a grooved locking point to ensure proper spread. The Grip Heads also have four different-sized holes to accommodate a wide variety of pole attachments. The center pole extensions are spring-loaded which avoids a sudden collapse as you break down and have a good foam hand grip allowing you to comfortably move it around. The twist locks are very secure.Overall this is a very professionally reasonably priced smaller c-stand.
