A heavy duty fluid head tripod that has many features. The head has a leveling bubble to insure true vertical and horizontal stability. The tripod has very smooth liquid movement in the horizontal plane and the vertical plane. A removable base plate makes attaching equipment quick and easy. Two different mounting screws are present to allow use of practically all video equipment. The legs deploy smoothly and effortlessly. Locking screws secure all adjustments tightly and in a fixed position. The tripod has slip proof feet for a secure and solid stance. This is a quality tripod that works well.
This high quality tripod is really nice. The legs are very stable without making the unit very heavy. You have lots of adjustability with their quick release levers. Adjust to fit your shot and lock them down easily. Comes with a universal plate to mount your camera to. The fluid head moves smoothly and tilts as well. This is an excellent value for the money.
Full caveat here. I don't have a camera that can fit this yet so obviously I can't fully test it. I plan to be getting one soon especially for reviews as even the latest phones like the S25 Ultra my father just got not too long ago, (I still have the S23 Ultra) simply can't accurately record the colors of direct colored LED light no matter what settings I try. LED products is something I commonly review as I have a fairly expansive PC gaming/man cave/guest bedroom that now is decked out in lol I have no idea how many different RGB/ARGB products anymore. Several dozen at least. So I'm commonly trying out any new similar type products that come up for review. Plus photography always seemed like a neat hobby, I just never got around to getting into it. So it's far past time to get a real camera. But what I do have is several different full sized tripods with clamping attachments for tablets and phones. They all can get the job done but comparing them to this is like comparing the NY Yankees with a really good little league team.What I like about this.It has a nice bag easily big enough to hold this.The feet are on ball joints and have a decent range of motion so getting it level on uneven surfaces is easy. They're also thick and looks like they're going to hold up for quite a while. It has a handy bubble level to help get it level.Setting it up is quick and easy as the locking fasteners on the legs don't even need a full revolution to tighten or loosen.Build quality is really nice and solid. When I first picked up the bag and felt how light it is I was expecting something far more flimsy. Not something lol that feels like if I used it as a club it might as well be a bat.It has all the different adjustments points that you could want and once locked into place they aren't going anywhere easily.As shown in the pic up next to the door it can go pretty tall.The camera mounting plate has numerous different attachments.I can't think of anything to complain about here. lol I've definitely put the cart before the horse here getting this before getting a camera, but I'm glad I got this out of the way at least. This is an easy 5 stars to justify giving.
This versatile tripod will hold a load of 13 pounds of camera, microphones, lights, a magic arm (it has a second female ¼-20 socket), and anything else you can think of to attach to it. It has ¼” and 3/8” screws which can be removed and inserted for use as needed on the removable top plate. It uses fluid-style head for pan and tilt, so it is ideally suited for video. The case has a large zippered pocket inside that contains the manual and the control arm. Each position you can put it in can be locked in place with locking knobs. It has a bubble level and angle markings to help you restore a previous position you have used. It has rubber feet which can be changed to spike feet which will work on earth and snow. It is unusually stable and easy to work with. I have done photography for more than 50 years, and this is probably the best tripod I have worked with. It weighs about 6 pounds, and given its features and construction, is reasonably priced.
