I've had the TP37 for about two weeks. I'm using my phone to record video so I purchased the cell phone holder and the Neewer Remote shutter. Quality of construction was what I was looking for and the equipment is well made and sturdy. So i am looking forward to making quality videos with this setup.

This video head tripod from brand NEEWER is kind of a testament to how well this brand considers the needs of its consumer base. It has a bright red on black design with twist and pressure knobs and stobs in every place you would consider to get the angle and solid placement for your frame, whatever camera you decide to mount on this beast. The one thing if any that I didn't like is that the product is made of a light aluminum and so it can get "bruised" fairly easily, but that is part of what it means to have the things you need on a budget. Take care of it, and it will take care of you.I also wish the little leg clips could somehow remain attached when the tripod is in use. They are useful when I have it packed, to keep the legs together. But otherwise, they are just something I have to remember, or possibly lose them.Whatever the case, this extends to ridiculous heights, has amazing configurability, and an excellent video head with a unique ball mount for maneuverability. I love it, and will use it a lot for my documentary video projects. 5 stars for what it is and offers.

This tripod has very good build quality. It is a premium grade tripod that will provide several versatile options for my photography.I will use this product for outdoor photography with a DLSR mainly. For indoors this tripod will hold various lighting or diffuser equipment securely. The panoramic action is smooth and quiet. I plan to eventually get into more video production and this tripod will provide a solid base for whatever video camera i end up getting.Highly recommended

This is the heaviest of the tripods that I own but also the sturdiest and the most stable. The panning action is smooth in both, the horizontal and vertical directions. The tripod is very well made and when loosening or latching the legs, keep in mind that if you are forcing it, you are probably doing it wrong.I found that the legs were held in place firmly when latched up with no slippage. It comes with different mountings for different cameras on the releasable plate. Those threaded mounts can beremoved if one so desires by removing a rubber plug and sliding them through.I like that the tripod can be extended high. I had no issues attaching and using my Canon T3i to the plate. The quality of the tripod is very good.

Over the years, I've always been too cheap to get a fluid head tripod. I've looked at them longingly, and I know I'd use one, but they've always been too expensive to justify the cost for how little video I shoot. When I was offered this one, I jumped at the chance. I've got a fair number of Neewer products in my repertoire, and have always had good luck with them.I took it to a nearby pond, pulled out a 300mm lens on my DSLR and shot some video. I've attached that video to this review so you can get a sense of how stable this tripod is when using a long lens. The fluid head movement is great, with knobs that allow you to quickly adjust how much tension you want in the movement when panning and tilting. Levelling your camera is also a piece of cake, since there's a simple hand lock that you can twist to allow you to rebalance the ball head on the tripod.Extending the legs is easy, using locking clamps. It also extends very high - at its full height, the base of the fluid head is a little over six feet high. This would be great for shooting something on the stage from behind a crowd (you might need a stepladder to be able to see your shot without a separate monitor). In terms of limitations, there are a few to be aware of. One is that it's rated for a little under 18 pounds of weight, so if you're using a heavy camera rig you'll need to look elsewhere. Another is that there's no way to attach sandbags or anything else to the feet. If you can live with these limitations, this tripod represents outstanding value. It's about half the price of comparable tripods I've seen.
