Solid, light, and portable. It works great — no regrets. I was using the other one you see in the picture because it's more compact, but this one is much sturdier. I added a ball head, and it’s excellent. You can also use it as a light stand.I will keep it five stars

I just got the NEEWER Photography Light Stand, and my first impression is that it is incredibly compact and easy to carry around. The reversible leg design makes it perfect for a portable studio setup. Since I haven't taken it out on a full shoot yet, I will provide a detailed performance review after I've used it for a bit!

Well built. They will last a while and are compact enough for travel.

I am very happy with my purchase of this lightstand. The product feels well made. The tubular legs are solid and the locks give a positive snap when locked in place. The legs also swivel back on itself for transportation. when it is collapsed, it fits my carry-on sized luggage with no problem. This is a great advantage as I bought it intending to carry it around as part of my portable portrait gear.

A lot more stable than I expected able to use a Godox 200 pro without issues

Pretty sturdy and practical for travel

I own the NEEWER S101-300W Strobe Flash Light and up to now, I've been using a stand that was not designed to hold the weight of the light. I feel much more confident using the NEEWER Photography Light Stand. This stand is super study and provides greater flexibility to get lighting positioned exactly where I need it. I am not a professional photographer, so I have no grounds for comparison to professional grade equipment. For me, the NEEWER stand represents a step up from what I've been using and I couldn't justify spending more on a professional grade stand. I'm sure there is a quality difference, but I'm not making money from my photography hobby, so budget is a major consideration and this stand ticks all the boxes.

I have owned a LOT of light stands in my day. This option from brand NEEWER, in terms of quality control and durability, shows the brand makes a strong effort to support creatives.There is a mix of strong aluminum and plastic construction here, the poles are metal, the clasp tighteners and raisers are durable plastic. And while it may not be the most dense metal ever, it seems to be a sturdy and well-conceived stand for the purpose it serves. I have tested it so far with a few options, and can easily imagine that for any general medium-sized softbox and flash combo, this light stand will hold its own just fine.As I am normally accustomed to the standard black aluminum stands with plastic twists and raisers, this one was a pleasant surprise as it is clearly a slightly higher quality than many others I have used. You don't hear any whiny sounds during the adjustment, you just lift and clasp again to tighten, simple as can be. One thing I didn't expect was how unique it actually can lower. I knew the specs, I just didn't really realize the flat profile you can create. The legs have the ability to flatten entirely, and yet it still remains very sturdy and secure.It also comes with a light but good enough carrying case for travel, and beyond that, there's not much that can be said about light stands beyond this. They are either great, or they are not. This one however is, so far, a surprisingly high quality stand for photographers who use artificial sources to light their subjects. It is as simple as that.A good light tripod is worth its weight in gold. Fortunately, this one is pretty light, and yet also quite affordable, coming in at only $59.99 at the time of this review. A strong value and a solid 5 stars for what it is.

It has many ways it can be used because of its versatile design. I will use it with my lights but also with my camera for some low angle shooting if I need. It is very compact when folded down with the revers legs so easy to transport. The centre shaft can be removed so you could use it to attach a microphone, for example. I like the hook for putting a sandbag to increase stability. With the adjustable legs, you can place on uneven surfaces. I am pleased with this excellent light stand From Neewer, a brand that I have many other products from them so that is why I knew I was going to like it.
