This is a nice light stand. Very stable and seems sturdy enough to carry around and set up wherever. It’s obviously not made for super rugged use but should do the job for the majority of people. It is easily adjustable and the mounting mechanism is good quality and shouldn’t break. It’s lightweight without feeling cheap and a really good value. I really like Neewer and always have good luck with their products.

Really great tripod for the price, mostly metal build, don't expect advanced features for anything, this makes a really great tripod for lighting equipment which is what i am using it for.

This seems to be designed primarily for mobile live streaming, with the cold shoe mount for a light, and the non removable head that only sports a 1/4-20 thread and a couple of fixed angles. Still, it’s well made. I keep saying that in my reviews, but for this one I mean the finish on the metal is nice, textured, almost wrinkle finish like a set of valve covers. The base of the stand could be wider, but it does collapse down super small. Priced appropriately.

For the price, this is a decent light stand. I appreciate that it includes a swivel adapter (with a cold shoe mount), making it easy to attach LED panels and switch between portrait and landscape modes. The swivel adapter allows for tilting the light, while the stand offers left-to-right panning.Although the stand is mostly aluminum, the knobs and light adapter are made of plastic, which might feel a bit cheap. If you're traveling frequently, this stand might not be the best choice due to its size. It only collapses to 25.6 inches, making it too large for most small travel suitcases.Overall, if you're on a budget, this video light stand does the job well.
