The interface is pretty intuitive. The touchscreen is very responsive even with fatty fingers

Sync'ed up immediately with the Q4 without any issues. The trigger is really nice, it reminds me of a more smartly designed Godox X3 type trigger. It shares the small tilt to help read from many angles, and also an easy to use touchscreen interface. They did add a convenient scroll wheel and buttons on the unit in more ergonomic places than the Godox X3 triggers. There's a button to switch modes easy also so going from ttl to M is a no brainer. TCM is also available if needed. The screen on the trigger is VERY nice. Easy to read, and also easy to see the color assigned to a light. Nicely done Neewer. It functions great, and the Q4 had no issues popping every time. While I'm heavily invested into the Godox system, it was nice being able to guerilla style shoot with a R8 and the Q4 and really just enjoy how well it all worked together.

Very practical and functional piece of photographic kit for people who have compatible Neewer flash units. The OLED touch screen is easy to maneuver, with multiple ways to adjust settings. Has both TTL and HHS compatibility.Best of all, it's compact and sits easily and unobtrusively in the camera's shoe at the perfect angle. Has a USB-C port for charging and for installing firmware upgrades. It works flawlessly with my Neewer flashes, and I could not be more pleased. Five stars.I tried to capture all surfaces, so you can get a feel for its layout and size. See pics.

This Neewer flash controller is compact reliable and very easy to use. It comes with a carrying case and a USB C charging cable so it is travel friendly. The smooth scroll wheel handles plus and minus adjustments with no click and makes changes quick and quiet. The mode button responds well and the display is clear. Build quality feels solid and the unit fits snug in the case. It works with just about any Neewer flash which makes it very versatile. A good choice for photographers who want a small controller that is simple and dependable.

The clear standout feature here is the responsive OLED touchscreen, which completely eliminates the tedious process of clicking through multiple physical buttons to adjust groups or power levels. Swiping through settings feels incredibly natural, and the screen's adjustable brightness is perfect for transitioning from dim studio spaces to outdoor shoots. Additionally, the built-in 1000mAh rechargeable battery is a massive quality-of-life improvement—charging quickly via USB-C and entirely saving you from having to constantly buy and swap out AA batteries during long shoots.

The only minor drawbacks are related to outdoor touchscreen usability and brand compatibility. While the screen is bright, it can still be somewhat reflective in direct, harsh midday sunlight, requiring you to shade it with your hand to read the settings clearly. The touch sensitivity is generally great, but it can be a bit tricky or less responsive if you are wearing gloves or have wet hands during cold-weather outdoor sessions. That being said, the TTL metering is incredibly accurate and consistent, and the 1/8000s High-Speed Sync works flawlessly with compatible Canon cameras. It is a fantastic, compact tool that offers professional-grade speed and convenience at a fraction of the cost of first-party transmitters.

I tested this trigger with a Canon EOS R6, pairing it with a Neewer Vision 5 strobe and an AD200Pro over five portrait sessions. Setup was fast - set the same channel and group on both devices, and the trigger linked instantly with no misfires. The hot shoe connection was secure, and the compact design stayed clear of the viewfinder in both portrait and landscape orientation. The OLED touchscreen made operation straightforward. It was bright enough to use outdoors in sunlight, and I could switch groups, adjust power, or toggle TTL and manual modes with quick taps instead of digging through menus. The TCM switch was especially useful, letting me lock in TTL exposure and instantly convert it to manual for consistency across a shoot.Performance was reliable. High-speed sync worked up to 1/8000s without banding, and TTL exposures were consistently balanced, requiring only small tweaks when moving between shade and direct sun. Over 700 frames, I experienced no lag or dropped signals.Battery life was excellent. The built-in 1000mAh rechargeable battery lasted through three long sessions before needing a charge, and USB-C fast charging refilled it in just over an hour.

The Neewer QZ-C TTL wireless flash trigger has been fantastic for my Canon setup! The 1/8000s HSS capability makes it easy to capture fast-moving subjects with precision, and the OLED touchscreen is intuitive and simple to navigate. I appreciate the TCM switch for consistent flash performance and the long-lasting 1000mAh battery keeps me shooting without interruptions. It pairs flawlessly with my Neewer flashes (NW420, Z1, Z2, Z760, Z880) and the build quality feels solid and professional. This has made off-camera flash setups much easier and more reliable.
