Almost perfect tripod, I do wish it can remove one of the legs to convert to a monopod like my smallrig travel tripod with the fluid head. I can just use that leg that is removable to make it be able to use a monopod. The LT34 has great features like smooth carbon fiber finish which is strong and durable and light. It is about 5ft tall which is perfect for travel and many uses. I like the head on this but wish it was more compatible with other plates even though it can use PD plates. It is someone like an arca swiss tripod head but for PD plates. I like the easy flaps that can extend it up and tall. It makes it easy to release and close quickly. The bottom of the tripod has access to open 1/4 threads where you can mount things like lights or microphones. The fluid head is but it can twist the middle leg when turned to the left if you tightened the 360 turn dial. Other than those gripes, this is a great tripod that you can use as it is light and compact and can fit in a 22in suitcase.

This is a durable, light-weight, carbon-fiber tripod (with some metal parts) that's perfect for travel and has all the features you'd want... and expect... from professional equipment. The detachable, swivel-ball head allows for fast and easy attachment/detachment of devices and precise, 360 degree positioning. There is a hook (which doubles as a hex wrench) for weighing the tripod down. The tripod comes with a well-made travel bag that doesn't have the cheap feel of most bags that come with the tripods I've bought or tried. This just became my favorite tripod.

Superb build quality, Basic FeaturesComes with Tripod, soft carry bag, instructions, and tools. The tripod is well made carbon fiber. It is impressive that all the locking mechanisms are metal, whereas so many lower-quality tripods use plastic leg locks. There's no fear of anything breaking here. The leg base is rubber, but the tools include three small spike-style legs, which are useful when setting up on dirt. There's a lock for marked 360° positioning. Another lock that allows the use of a swivel ball. There's a good push locking mechanism for the Arca-Swiss head. When the legs are fully extended (there are four leg locks) along with the center column, it's about 5'2", so it's not an extremely tall tripod, but good for typical field photography. With a 22lb capacity, it can hold a reasonably well-rigged camera with a heavy lens. Be aware of balance, though, as you might want to spread the legs wider. There are notched controls to spread the legs. The center column has a hook to weigh the tripod down and can be unscrewed to reveal a hex wrench. There are two additional hex wrenches with the tools. All joints can be retightened over time.My only wish is that the small carry bag had an internal pouch for the tools, as they may otherwise fall out and get lost. Otherwise, this is a great basic, featured professional travel tripod that can stand up to rigorous field use.

Overall this tripod is pretty fantastic. It's super lightweight. It's thin profile is great for strapping to backpacks. It's easy to use and adjust like most tripods. It works great and is stable and sturdy. It has a good height. The clip locks on the legs are decent and have their own pros and cons vs twist locks. They are quick and easy and tougher to use in colder weather. It's been my go to travel tripod for a bit I wish it was a tiny bit shorter when collapsed to fit in a my pelican case. Straight. Overall neewer did an awesome job with this one.

I have a set of bulky photography tripods and this thing blows them away. It is light but rock solid. It has excellent quality fixtures and all the features you expect from a quality photography tripod. The carrying case is the cherry on top with its sleek design and quality construction. Best of all, it's an affordable price for a carbon fiber tripod!

This is my second Neewer travel tripod... not because the first broke, but because I liked it so much, I wanted backup for when life inevitably throws me into mud, rain, or some chaotic shoot on a mountain ledge. The LT34 is a beast in disguise—carbon fiber frame so light it feels like you're carrying optimism, yet tough enough to handle getting knocked around while chasing that golden hour shot. Setup is lightning-fast (because who has time for fiddling when the light’s perfect for 2.5 minutes?), and the built-in quick release head? Chef’s kiss. 🎬📷It plays nice with basically every base plate I own, and I have... a few. Like, “I lost track” level. You know the type.If you’re a photographer, videographer, or just someone who thinks tripods should be reliable, portable, and not cost you your dignity on a hike—this one hits the mark.Neewer, you’ve done it again. Now excuse me while I go pretend I didn’t just buy a second tripod for the ‘vibes’. 🌄🖤
