This works well with iPhone 16 Pro and I enjoy bringing it on my nature walks with my dog. The examples I shared here are without using a tripod but I was still able to get pretty good photos. Macro mode is a little easier to manage without a tripod but the telephoto option, you’ll definitely want to use a tripod because it keeps moving. If you want to record video then yes tripod! Focusing in on objects is easy. (Unless it’s a fast ant.) I saw a whale today with this. Some tips on how to get this to work:1. Find out which of your lens is the “main camera”. For the iPhone 16 pro, with the phone pointed at you, it’s the circle on the bottom left. 2. You then need to turn off macro mode on your iPhone by pressing the flower symbol when it comes up. And leave the zoom alone at x1. Once you turn macro off, your camera will then adjust and view only through the lens attached. This comes with a clip on adapter for the 17mm. I ended up buying the Neewer iPhone cage that has the different plates. These line up with you camera lens and then you screw it on. To me it makes it easier and feels more secure. If you have a husky/german Shepard, using the macro to look at the carpet is an adventure. In the photos I shared you can see the details of the flower pollen and they seem to glow. This is a good lens and works if you follow the instructions. I’m gonna try to get a jumping spider or snails face next.

Yep

The combination of the telephoto and macro lens makes it possible to capture macro shots from further away than with a macro lens alone. The quality of the images also seems similar to other phone macro lenses I’ve used.

The pictures were taken with this lens. There is a bit of a learning curve as it is not like the traditional camera body and lens setup. This lens is setup to go over your phone lens and act as a detachable lens. It is pretty big but a good size that’ll fit in any purse or even your pocket. I just wouldn’t suggest keeping this on your phone until you get to a spot you’re going to start taking pictures. The lens attaches via a clamp over your phone and holds down pretty well but it will get knocked off if you drop the phone or bump it hard enough against something.I’m still learning how to use this to its full capabilities but so far it has worked as it should. The lens itself is pretty durable, similar to other camera lenses and seems pretty good quality. I’ve purchased many things from this brand for photography equipment and see this working out overall.

So I've never used lens additions to the camera on my phone but I've seen them, but I've never seen one quite like this. This thing definitely takes the cake. The telephotos lens makes you feel like you're a wildlife photographer and it's perfect for capturing pictures of birds and various wildlife or feeling like a private eye. And then also has a 10x macro lens for extra close up shots. It's actually almost too close almost like a cellular level like I feel like due the level of zoom you can capture insects and various bugs probably really awesomely but it would be hard to take a picture of a flower but you would be able to take a really close picture of a pedal let's say. Quality of this lens feels very good and well built feels like an actual lens on a Canon or Nikon it can really bring out that inner photographer. Just make sure you have the thread on insert well attached and what I like to do is turn it down towards gravity so then it can't slide when you put on the lens as it is quite heavy and take some getting used to for shooting. Although it's not worth removing a star the only thing I would improve is a way to attach the mounting phone clip to or inside the case, as without it the lenses use this
