Description

  • GM36 Low-Center-of-Gravity Tripod Head is a durable, all-metal ball head that mounts your DSLR camera, mirrorless camera, and camcorder of up to 33lb (15kg). The 36mm ball diameter ensures extra stability and smooth positioning of your equipment.
  • The 38mm Arca quick-release plate lets you attach and swap cameras safely and rapidly. The 1/4” mounting screw is widely compatible with most photographic devices with non-slip rubber pads to avoid scratches.
  • A 360° panning base helps you take smooth panoramas, and a 90° tilt notch enables quick conversion between vertical and horizontal orientations.
  • Screw knobs make operation fast and easy—tighten them to secure the tripod head firmly in place. A bubble level assists you with accurate compositions.

The 36mm ball head performs to my satisfaction and I'm very happy with it. It's strong, it's sturdy, and it does the job.

Has a level on the pivotal head and plenty of adjustability. There are marking to indicate a degree of rotation from a starting point. There's also a slide where the camera would mount that would allow you to center your camera for a more accurate rotation. (The slide also has markings of increments.)With this pivot head I was able to take a not so sophisticated tripod and make it more useful.5/5 Clever little attachment!!!

The ball is unique and it is able to rotate 360 degrees in each direction and it’s adjustable. It is easy to carry everywhere and very solid product. I like how it weighs and it works great.

This is yet another great technical demonstration by Neewer. This ball head is very heavy, which is exactly what you're looking for in this kind of device.Every vector of rotation (X, Y and z) is well controlled, and as you will see in the video, the quick release is quite innovative. The equivalent with Italian made ball heads would be at least twice the price. And as of my first contact, the quality is there. My verdict : Watch the video and if the quick release is fine with you, buy without hesitation. It's a finely engineered add-on.

Perfect for use on one of my many light stands and install my Sony A74. The low profile is designed to hold up to 33 lb more than enough for my need. The build quality feels robust and the knobs work well. There an adapter for 1/4 screw hole that permitted me to install on a Neewer tripod. Veery happy with this product that offers solidity at a fair price.

The pan movement is fluid and smooth. The ball moves smoothly and adjusting the camera is easy. The grip is firm and can lock everything in place. There is no restriction control by itself, one lever does both. When you engage in the u notch, at some point the restriction lowers, and you need to be careful not relying too much on the friction to hold your gears. My DSLR with weight not much more than 1kg. I can't review for bigger gears, it will hold more than that, but I can't test how much. This is a little overkill for my gear, although it is the same height as my 25 mm ball head, which is still 180g compare to this one with 280g. it is worth the small extra. The price looks OK considering you get both the ball head and an arca swiss mount. This looks to be a rebranding, you may get deals from other brands too.Overall I'm happy with the product, there was no surprise, the finish is good, and it works good.
