This tripod without a doubt is probably one of the best tripods. I’ve used here recently. I will say, though at full height, you need a platform to be standing on in order to use at 76 inches. Yes you can see a bunch of people but if you’re short like I am 5‘6“ you’re gonna need something to stand on for the size of tripod. It’s not too bad as far as weight goes, it does collapse down to just over 3 feet at 38 inches the fluid head and adjustable angle of the head as far as the inner ball is a nice feature to have you’d also dismount the head 100% and use it just as a handheld if need be, although if you have a big camera on it, not recommended. Two design features I would say it would be a great improvement on would be a second center support triangle and make it collapse a little bit more. The reason for a smaller collapsed unit would be for people like me who like to ride motorcycles and also take their gear with them to do photography 38 inches is not ideal when riding a motorcycle nowhere to put a 38 inch long tripod. The tripod also has three separate locations for accessories like a phone holder whatever the case may be via 14 x 20 standard threaded in insert the handle could be used on the left or the right side as well. Overall, I’d recommend this to anybody who is looking to buy a tripod that’s inexpensive.

This tripod deploys faster than an away team beam-in. One-handed carry, legs drop, level, and lock—mission-ready in under 30 seconds. The build is starship-solid, the padded case takes the bumps, and the fluid head glides like a shuttle through atmosphere. For rapid launch coverage, it’s “make it so” gear.

For the price, this tripod cannot be beat. I am totally sold on the quick release legs. What a game changer. For a heavy duty tripod, I can have this one up and down in seconds. No knobs to turn or multiple points of tightening. Just one quick release and lock on each leg. Boom...done!The tripod is made well and although my camera doesn’t weigh in anywhere near the maximum weight, I’m able to add additional accessories to this tripod without worrying. I’ve had it loaded down with camera, monitor, small COB lights, and recording equipment and had no fear of it tilting or falling. I’ve experienced no issues with slipping of the legs. The fluid head is good and moves smoothly. I like the plate design with the extra latch to prevent accidental camera drop. Everything on the head is machined well. The plate is a good size and will suit many camera setups, although extra large lenses might need a larger plate. The tripod comes with a good bag for storage and toting around. It is padded and has an interior zippered pouch to keep the extra tools and hand grip that come with the tripod. On the negative side, it is a heavy tripod if you have to carry it a lot. It is also long even when closed. The feet are rubber and since I do a lot of outdoors filming, it would be nice to have the ability to also have steel points for some terrains, but this can probably be altered for my use.The tripod is an excellent value and I would recommend it.

Fantastic beginner video tripod. Good value for a starter video production. Its not the best for pan and tilting live shots but for a starter it's good enough. Its light weight for this kind of tripod but the best feature has to be how high this thing can go. Which is why I picked this up. I wanted a second video tripod that could go high and this one can. My biggest issue is the feet. It has small rubber feet but it should have something wider to provide more stability. Especially when it gets so high. Overall fantastic affordable tripod.

So this is a very good video tripod and it has a lot of nice features that makes it easy to use. To start with some positives, the build quality is quite nice. It's appears to be about 50% metal, 50% plastic (give or take 10% or so). Upon using it for the first time, I was moderately shocked at how heavy it felt. For a video tripod, I suppose this is normal however for the sake of stability. Panning and tilting is nice and smooth, and the removable arm can be positioned on both sides at any angle too. Initially, it felt more natural to want to position it on the right to use with my dominant hand, but it did get in the way of a couple of the tightening bolts, so it makes a bit more sense placing it on the left-hand side. As for the legs, it does have a quick release system of sorts. You do have to unlock the three latches in order to raise or lower the height. For the most part, it is quicker than the typical photography tripod, but it isn't as seamless as some of the higher end options that only require a single latch. Something else I like to see is a fully metal quick release plate. It feels very sturdy and locks my camera onto the head nice and tight. As for negatives, I don't have too many complaints. The price is reasonably competitive with other brands on Amazon. I think the weight might be a bit too much for the average person, however. It definitely takes a hit on overall portability. Although, It does have a really nice carrying case, which helps alleviate that issue a bit. For on-location shooting, I'd probably go with one of my smaller, lighter tripods. For studio work however, you can't go wrong with this one.5/5 stars
