I used this light primarily in my home studio, and while I was able to turn the brightness down for a softer background, I found the output to be very consistent in strength. I could adjust the color temperature right on the panel, allowing me to match existing daylight or throw in a warmer effect without messing around with gels. It is easy to swap in a diffuser to help soften the shadows. For the price, this offers a lot of value as professional lighting can get quite expensive!
