The Neweer field monitor has excellent resolution and brightness. I highly recommend this product. However, you will need to purchase batteries and a charger. Be sure to remove the battery after your shoot to avoid damaging it. I believe the battery can last for several hours. It's essential to have a good tripod to adjust the positions of your camera and field monitor. You may also need accessories to mount your camera and the Neweer field monitor.

Plug-and-play, it is as easy as that! Excellent picture quality. I also ordered the batteries and it works as expected. (Battery, support, camera, teleprompter, tripod, or any other additional accessory not included in the official description not included).

Should have bought a monitor before. This monitor works great and will not break the bank. I'm not a pro but this is a game changer as I do quota bit if videos by myself and this allows me to make sure I'm getting the shot I want.The image quality is better than expected and runtime on the battery has been excellent, just make sure when you are not using the monitor to remove the battery. The unit will continue to drain the battery even when powered off, but from my research there are other that do the same.The unit I bought did not come with batteries, so I had to purchase them but they do offer a monitor with batteries option.I would like to purchase more of these as I can afford.

Now, after receiving it , I realize how much I was needing it, it help me to see what I`m recording with my DSLR and its perfect to videoBLOG. The image quality is excellent and and is easy to use, remember to buy a DC 12V charger or the battery because it's not included

I bought this monitor to use with my Lumix GH5 and GX80 cameras to give a bigger image than the screen on the camera to help with shooting and also when showing clients - the monitor is fantastic value (and the same price as the smaller version) and the picture quality is great. Run off Sony NPF batteries (not included) and is dead easy to set up and use. Highly recommonded

I got this for my Canon 80D. One of the provided cables fit perfectly into my camera's mini HDMI port. I tested it around the house but not on an outdoor project yet. I think it will be just fine. My camera has a small viewfinder but viewing a video image on this larger screen is a hundred times better, especially for picking out details within a scene. The sun shade fits snugly and they've provided an additional wider sun shade that can also be used. I'm very happy with this purchase thus far.

My package arrived one day earlier than expected. I also purchased the Ravpower batteries that were suggested, so I threw them on the charger immediately, and began unpacking everything else. All of the items were securely wrapped and packaged, and they were all there - I wasn't missing anything! In fact, there was an extra cable I didn't even know about, but am certainly glad it was in there! The instructions were very user-friendly, and I was able to assemble very easily. Once I mounted it via Hot Shoe onto my Sony a7iii, plugged the HDMI in, and turned everything on, it worked seamlessly. The Instructions Manual walked me through and explained every option on the Menu screens of the Monitor, itself. It was very simple to navigate and play around with. **The only word of advice I would give, is that once you connect the plastic frame of the Sun Shade onto the Monitor, just keep it on there indefinitely. I went to take mine off, and it was resisting to the point where I felt like if I tried any harder to take it off, it would break; so I am just leaving it on for good. It's really just a user preference and judgment call. It's really no bother to me. I am very happy with this purchase, overall, and I look forward to using this out in the field! I will update my review after my next couple of upcoming gigs!

I needed a bigger screen to break out from my T5 to pull focus with and this was 1/3 the price of even the other value brand screens. Color accuracy seems pretty accurate and it does have focus help (although I've got magic lantern on my camera so I won't be using that).It even came with TWO HDMI cables, one that fit the Canon EOS hdmi port in my camera and another micro HDMI to full size one so that was a bonus! I thought for a moment I was going to have to buy another cable.Does NOT include any power or battery though. I did order batteries for it but they're 4 days away, however I was able to find an old wall wart (12DCV, 1.5A) that fit it and it works great (reminder to never throw out old power adapters for things you don't use anymore!)Only small complaint is that the shoe mount is really fidgety to get to the right angle and be nice and tight. Lots of mucking about with it but hey, the screen works and budget was a big consideration here and at the end of the day it works and I have no regrets.
