It is an entry level light ring but it does come with a lot of different lighting modes. In particular, there is a vast array of different colors and lighting animations. I was really impressed but the sheer number of modes. Build quality is okay, and if you don't over tighten anything it should last a long time.Setup was a easy with only one major screw needed for the base. Everything can be put together by hand. Once assembled the base is sturdy and easily holds a phone in place. I would caution that having the ring facing down the base spun backwards (away from the ring) does cause it to be imbalanced. So if you want to shoot things on a table from the top down, you may need to put some additional weight on there to keep it from tipping over. Despite this, I think it offers a good range of motion and you should be able to record in different orientations without much hassle.The phone holder works and grips my iPhone well. Be cautions not to clamp it on the volume or power buttons. Shooting straight down may require some zooming to avoid getting any of the actual stand in the frame.The included remote shutter is good and works well. I paired it easily with my phone and it really helps keep your recording or photo taking hands free which I really like.As a total packaged, and given the price, this is a great entry level stand or basic stand for video conferencing or content creation. The lighting is quite versatile and the soft lighting helps make content look high quality.

This light seems to work very well. Lots of lighting and color options. It can be super bright, too. It was easy to assemble, although the instructions were vague. There's a little flimsiness to the overall holder, but still gets the job done. It's easy to connect and set up.

I'm not a content creator but do work from home and lighting in my office can be hit or miss so I was looking for something that would help illuminate my face while on Zoom and Teams meetings. As the description states, it is very entry level friendly with very user friendly setup and intuitive functionality. It feels sturdy to me and looks nice as well. I like that it can be lengthened or shortened, bent every which way and that there are so many different light modes which make it hard to think what it doesn't do that you might need. Not being familiar with content creation I'm a little baffled by what all the various RGB color modes would be used for in practice, but I'm a tech nerd and love me some RGB so I'm not complaining at all. I'll eventually have to do some research on that. It held my Samsung Galaxy S23 phone perfectly. This is also an excellent price for a light that I can use for multiple purposes. No complaints here!

If you're after natural skin tones, press the mode button on the control panel to draw up the 3000K light, which has a warm glow to it, but not too warm. Also, if you are doing product photography or video, meaning you don't want to change the color of what you are shooting, then also under the Mode light toggle once more to bring p 5600K white light, which is also suitable for skin tones. I could also see a third light in this mode with a cooler look, which you wouldn't want to use for skin tones. The button labeled RGB stands for "red, green, blue." You can increase or decrease light intensity with up and down buttons. The remote control that comes with this light connects to your smart phone, so with your phone in the holder you can either snap photos or start and stop video. This Ring light is very easy to set-up and features a heavy metal base, which has a novel attachment requiring no tools that I show you in my video.

Having the controls directly on the ring itself makes adjustment much more convenient when you're positioned in front of the light.I like that it has a desk stand. It makes this really convenient and portable so you don't have to actually have a clamp and compatible table or desk. Just set it down wherever you need lighting and you're good to go.I don't mind that it's a USB-A connection. At this point, I don't think everything has switched over to USB Type-C yet, so this makes it still very universal for most setups. You can plug it into laptops, power banks, or standard USB adapters without needing special cables.I don't really use the phone mount, but it does work well. The mounting mechanism is solid and holds phones securely.I tend to use this as a light for my laptop when I'm on a video call away from my main computer at my desk. It's great for traveling on business, especially if you know you're going to have to do some video conferencing while traveling. It folds up small when put away, making it easy to throw in a laptop bag or suitcase.I'm impressed by the different color modes available on such an affordable device. Getting RGB effects and multiple lighting modes at this price point is excellent value.Highly Recommended
