Well, this really isn't much to say about this D-Tap battery charger expect it works as expected (and I expected as such) without issues. It's rated at 33.6W (16.8V/2A) which isn't a whole lot but it's sufficiently powerful in most cases even though most V-Mount batteries (with D-Tap) can support much higher power rating.It has a status LED which that turns green when it's connected to a power source as well as when the battery is fully charged; it's red when it's charging.≡ ValueAll things considered, this is a decent D-Tap battery charger that works as expected with reasonably high output (33.6W) that's suitable for most and adequate in most situations. It's reasonably priced at $36 for what it provides and its overall build quality and MOST importantly, it's (c)UL certified.

I could only validate the 16.81V output, which is the correct voltage to stop charging a cell li-ion battery. The power input for a discharged battery was 40.3W, which is inline with around 2 A charging at 33W output with normal power supply efficiency. It filled up my battery in no time.The angled connector may be good, but is an issue for me as it covers the other battery connector (my battery has USB ports). I was planning to use the charger while the battery stay connected, but that will not be possible for my setup. I could have check easily with the pictures.Safety: Canadian Electrical Code States that a device should conform to some specific CSA standards, and that is what a UL listed log checks for. The device has this marking for both US and Canada so it has a good safety level.

This one can be used to charge the V-mount batteries you already own or can be used to provide power to devices that accept D-tap input and finally also can be used with these dummy batteries that end in female D-tap.Good value for the money, recommended.

For such a large capacity battery (99Wh) this Neewer charger took it from 6% to 100% in less than 2 hours. I wasn't expecting this 100% charge to happen this quickly, but the charger led went from red to green, and the battery screen says 100%. I haven't discharged and cycled the battery yet, so time will tell if the performance of this charger/battery will consistently be this good. So far, my expectations are exceeded.
