The S bracket is very handy and versatle. Holds a studio light or strobe in addition to smaller Godox ad100 light and speedlights. Affordable. Recommended.

I've been searching for a Bowens bracket holder that I could use with my Godox and Canon strobe flashes, and I believe I found it. Now I can use all my Bowens softbox gear not just with my video lights but also with my strobe flashes. I like that it has two movable mounting plates and a top locking knob that allows me to accommodate square or round-head strobe flashes in horizontal and vertical positions. The build quality is good, it's made of good, high-quality plastic and some metal. Another thing I appreciate is the umbrella hole to use it with umbrella soft diffusers. In my opinion, this is a great deal, especially for the price tag.

I've seen brackets like this for rectangular shaped flashes, and I've seen brackets like this for the newer round style flashes, but this bracket will transform to work with any style. It's a simple, yet elegant solution and works very well.Other than the clever transformer trick, the bracket is similar to others I have. The overall quality is good and the Bowens mount mechanism works fine. It's nice that I can use this adapter/bracket with all of my flashes, including my newer, round-head Godox and Neewer flashes.

It's about the price of the Godox S2 but it's weighs about 3/4 as much. I only really use them for about 7 days a year so I don't put them through much. It works great and I appreciate lighter equipment that's still solid enough that I don't have to worry about my expensive equipment being damaged. Everything feels just as secure when clamping down my AD200 flash. No problems at all.

S type brackets are a very handy device. They are the easiest way to use Bowens mount modifiers on speedlites or studio flash units that don't have built-in modifier mounts (like the original Godox AD360 and the AD200). I have a number of s type brackets because my main studio units are Godox AD300 Pros and my backups are AD360-II units and I have a large collection of Bowens mount modifiers. They all pretty much work the same. This Neewer version is like the newer ones made by Godox in that the adjustment to tilt the flash downward or upward rotates freely when the locking knob is loosened as opposed to the earlier versions that had click stops that were annoying. I definitely prefer the stepless tilt like this model. The biggest differences I see with this version from other 2nd generation s type brackets is that the plates that adjust the size of the opening to accommodate different sizes of flash now rotates out rather than being pulled off. The plus is that you don't have to worry about losing them when pulled off. The minus is that it now will stick out from the bracket when pulled away. The other change I notice is the adjustment knob for tightening down on the flash is different. It's larger and all plastic. I don't like it as much but it's not a factor. Overall, this is well made and durable.

This is an upgraded version of the previous flash brackets from Neewer. It has w major upgrades and two neutral changes. As for the upgrades, the older brackets click into place when you adjust the angle of the flash and I always worry I'll break them (though none have ever broken), but this one turns smoothly for precise adjustments and that's huge. It also has a plate that swings out backwards so you better use it for both round and rectangular flashes, and it holds the flashes in place well. If you use round flashes, that's a great change. As for the neutral changes, the bowens mout is very similar, it holds where in the hole that secures it but the other two holes are a bit loose (same as the old versions). The umbrella holder on this one has a spring in it to hold the umbrella in place, and it holds okay without slipping, but the umbrella does move around a bit to the sides and can easily turn in circles when you're adjusting the flash. The oldr brackets I have are either the same (also a bit loose), or have a screw that you secure the umbrella in place with, though they still move around even with those.For my needs, the ability to make more precise adjustments with the angles is the most important thing, and it's worth it for that alone.
