This is easy to use and the colors are very vibrant. It lights up well in dim light areas. The only downside is the battery doesn’t last very long so be sure to turn it off between shots to conserve the battery life.

I like the lights. They could be a bit brighter, but since my main use is studio photography of items for sale they work fine. A bit longer exposure does the trick. The RGB feature is also nice for adding some color to the image. You will want to use them with tripods of course. For table top use consider some small folding tripods with a low profile. Or get a set of larger lighting tripods. Both are inexpensive but useful. I will consider a 3rd light to add some brightness from above and behind the objects. Good product.

As a photographer and videographer, I found the NEEWER CL124 RGB Handheld LED Light Stick to be an indispensable addition to my gear. The versatile RGB lighting, adjustable color temperature from 2500K to 10000K, and 0-100% dimming options provided the ability to quickly adapt to various shooting situations. The CRI 97+ and TLCI 97+ ratings also ensure color accuracy for my projects.The intelligent app control was a noteworthy feature, providing the luxury of wireless control and preset saving. Although it took some time to master, the app ultimately made my work more efficient, especially for portrait photography and product shots. The 17 scene effects added creative possibilities to any project – the lightning effect, in particular, was quite impressive.While the built-in 2600mAh lithium-ion battery allowed for 60 minutes of continuous use at full brightness, I found the light stick to be slightly heavy after extended handheld use. However, the standard 1/4" threaded hole made it easy to mount onto a tripod, light stand, or boom arm for a more stable setup. Additionally, the included metal barn doors were helpful for controlling light spill, but may not be necessary in every situation.Overall, the NEEWER CL124 RGB Handheld LED Light Stick offers impressive versatility, customizable lighting options, and quality performance that help elevate any photography or videography project. Despite the slight learning curve and weight, I believe it is a worthy investment for those seeking professional lighting solutions.
