Very robust, and surprisingly heavy (therefore stable) trail camera mount. The extraordinary thing, though, given that trail cameras are designed for use in all weathers, is that the instructions state “Do not use in rain or wet conditions.” Otherwise it would be 5*.
I use this three-prong trail camera mount at various locations around my home for my outdoor video security system. The dual ball heads offer full 360° rotation, which is great. The tilt function is somewhat limited, but I’m still able to get a suitable angle with my Eufy camera system, and the stability seems to be good. The adjustable height helps to avoid obstructed views, and the all-black metal build blends in discreetly. So far, it seems to hold up well in outdoor conditions. Setup was intuitive with no tools needed, and breakdown for moving and transport is just as simple. This is an excellent value for multi-device use and reliable performance.
Hoping for a sturdy, flexible setup, this trail camera mount was just the ideal product. The ground stake gives it a planted feel, and the 360 degree adjustable head makes it easy to dial in the perfect angle. Incredibly solid! Well made and although it is heavier than most it is solid. I have used other brands that are designed for trail cameras and solar panels but this one surprised me - it has substance to it and will hold the camera and solar panel well. Other brands I have used do not last (especially through winter weather) - I think this one will di very well due to its solid design.
The solar mount for the camera setup works better than I expected. I used it for my trail cam by the woods and it held steady through rain and wind. The pole comes in sections that screw tight, and the height adjustment makes it easy to position just right.The solar panel gets plenty of light and the mount feels sturdy enough for rough weather. The base pushes into the ground firm and stays put. Adjusting the tilt is smooth and locks once set.I set it up in about ten minutes and haven’t had to move it since. Keeps my camera powered and aimed right where I want.
