NEEWER BASICS TP15 71"/67.7" Camera Tripod Monopod

This tripod has impressed me with its sturdy metal build and heavy duty feel, reaching up to about 67 inches tall which makes it great for various setups without feeling flimsy. This is the tripod of tripods, it's the king of tripods. This is absolutely the best tripod I've used. It stands tall or be lowered down depending on what you're recording or taking pictures of. This is definitely the most heavy duty tripod out there and can be folded down for portability, comes with a storage bag too making it easier to take with you on your photography travels. It's versatile as well, the legs can be adjusted at different lengths, awesome. The aluminum alloy is lightweight but also really strong, it's made strong and sturdy. I love that I can use this as a monopod once I take out the tripod leg tube ,mount on top center ,easy peasy. The foam padding on the monopod leg helps with keeping a good grip while using, nice .Coolest and most versatile tripod I've used and now my favorite. A phone holder is included, I use my phone a lot for recording so this is perfect. No matter how tall , short or angle you need this to be it's got you covered. Lightweight, adjustable, portable, versatile and so worth the value for money. Functions better than any tripod I've used.You definitely want to get this tripod, I very highly recommend it for all your recording and photography needs.

I have been using the NEEWER Basics Camera Tripod with both my Sony A6700 camera and my phone, and I’m really impressed with just how versatile it is. The aluminum build feels sturdy but still lightweight enough to travel with. At full extension it reaches up to 71 in, and can get as low as 28.5in. It also folds down for easy portability and comes with a carrying case for on the go shoots. The 360 degree ball head is smooth and makes adjusting angles quick and easy whether I’m shooting horizontal or vertical. The 360 degree swivel is also great for those who want to shoot panoramic photos. The included cellphone holder mount works well for video recording and filming on my phone, so I don’t have to swap gear depending on what I’m shooting. One of my favorite parts is the monopod function where you can detach a leg and use it as a monopod when you don’t want to set up a full tripod. This came in handy for more stable mobile shots and places where space was tight.Overall, this tripod from Neewer is a solid all around tripod with great adjustable height, portability, and versatility at a reasonable price. This is my second NEEWER Tripod... I also own the carbon fiber version of this one... and I absolutely love them both.They are super portable, really easy to set up, infinitely adjustable, extremely sturdy, wildly versatile, and a VERY good value for the money. I love these tripods. Comes with a nice carry bag too!*Pro Tip* when you pack this tripod up, verify you have the threaded feet BEFORE you leave location.. haha

I love the size and weight of this tripod when collapsed. It's only about 17" long stored in its included carry bag, thanks to the "reverse" folding legs. It's quick and easy to deploy, and very sturdy when set up. The machined aluminum parts are light and strong and will last.It's a bonus to be able to remove one of the legs and use as a monopod. It eliminates having to carry another piece of hardware.

NEEWER basics is a great alternative for good quality tripods at a lower price, whilst removing all the bells and whistles from the super expensive tripods. This tripod is a great example of good quality for a good price point. The overall design is a little flashy but better than simple black, with red accents at the base of the 3 legs. The legs are in good quality, and he latches are plastic but feel fine. This can be either a pro/con, but I like that the legs will fall out on their own for quicker deployment. To adjust the tilt of each leg, you can push the red tab to change the angle, which I appreciate much better than others, where you have to use your fingers to grab a latch and hold it against a spring to adjust.While the ball head mount is a little tall, it has almost every feature you would need, with no super complicated locking system at all. The only thing missing is a level for when the mount is 90 degrees for portrait-style shooting. The knobs feel fine for the price point in quality, and you have a dedicated ball locking knob and a pan locking knob. The ARCA Swiss plate works well with any 3rd party mounts, including NEEWER and Peak Design.I would have loved for the mounting hook for upside-down shooting to be a little more subtle, as the hook does stick out. The detachable monopod feels a little short for uses where you do not want to bend down. Overall, for the price point you get great functionality with none of the crazy drawbacks.
