Neewer is my favorite electronics brand hands down! Every one of their products is high quality and lasts a very long time. I have some of their lighting equipment that Ive had for ten years. When I'm looking for electronics products, I look for longevity, because I don't believe in getting the newest product. I believe in getting products that are of high quality. That's NEEWER in a nutshell!

I really enjoy Neewer products, and this travel tripod is yet another smash hit. The quality you get for the price point is excellent, and it feels thoughtfully designed from start to finish. It stows away easily in its bag, making it super convenient for travel and transport. Setting it up, taking it down, and adjusting it to fit your needs is quick and effortless, which is exactly what you want from a travel tripod. The weight is also spot-on...light enough that it’s not a burden to carry, but still heavy and solid enough to feel sturdy and secure once set up.Overall, I’m really impressed with the design, functionality, and value of this tripod. A great option if you’re looking for something portable without sacrificing stability.

For this price, I used to get a plastic tripod, but this is a very affordable and high-quality tripod for the money. It is easy to use, it is portable, is high enough(72") to make a great shots or videos. You have the option to have a monopod. This is great tripod for beginner and for travelers.

This NEEWER tripod/monopod is a winner and saved us for family pictures just this week. This kit came with a phone mount and the threaded piece to turn it into a monopod. All I know is that it's lightweight, stores incredibly compact, and is super sturdy. We had grandkids running around and bumping into it while trying to get pictures and this tripod had no issues with stability. We managed to get several great pictures using the phone mount attachment since our daughter's camera died. The easy, quick-release plate made getting the phone on and off a breeze. On top of all this, it has a bubble level, smooth ball head, and easy-to-use tighteners to get the camera situated right where you want it. Everything on this tripod just seems like high quality and that lots of thought was put into its design. It's a great price for a great piece of equipment in my opinion.

I want to open by saying I am not a professional photographer; however, I dabble in it as a hobby. I have trusted Neewer for a while now because it provides excellent value for a hobbyist; I have lights, cases, lenses for my drone, and other things. I was a bit skeptical since this tripod is a very tall one, but once I put it all together and clicked the locks, it feels pretty stable and really sturdy. This is quite tall, it does reach 72" while maintaining stability, of course if you try to bump it, it will move. One feature I really liked was the ability to unscrew one of the legs to use it as a monopod. This is not something I have tested out there yet (just as a tripod), but I have to say I am quite impressed with how good this one is.Comes with a bag and some adjustment tools in case you need to fiddle with your camera to make it work, other than that it's your all-around utility tripod. Tested with a Sony a6000.

This tripod is very well built and offers lots of thoughtful features. The ball head can be used with a DSLR or use the included brackets to mount your phone for extra stable shots. The compact size makes it easy to pack with your gear. One leg of the tripod is easily detachable giving you a monopod when you just can't stay in one place. It's height is adjustable from 17 inches up to 72 inches. It offers professional quality at an affordable price.

I like this new tripod from Neewer. It is very light (under 3 pounds) but strong. I use larger SLR cameras and it provides more than adequate support. The center column reverses so you can get really close with a macro lens. The center column also features a hook so you can hang a camera bag (or something) when you want more stability. It also has a graduated horizontal plane dial for those panorama shots I can never quite get right. One leg detaches so you can use it as a monopod if you desire. I doubt that I will ever do that as the tripod is so light and I would rather have the stability of three legs. I guess if you just want to have a hiking staff with you that you can put a camera on, it would be OK. All-In-All, well thought out, well built.

This is extremely lightweight but feels durable at the same time it gets pretty tall so I feel like it would fit anybody and I like that it has a hook on the bottom of the centerpiece so you could put a backpack or some sort of weight in my photo I put a sandbag filled with rocks commonly I use it for other type of tripods and microphone stands to weigh them down. The bag that came with it is a really snug fit and not easy to take it it out I wish it was just a few inches bigger in every direction. This is a very attractive looking as a modern style easy to use and as all the features I would want in a tripod.

This is an excellent budget-class travel tripod. It's fairly lightweight at just under 3 lbs. I thought it would be interesting to compare it to my 10-year old aluminum Italian-made Manfrotto BeFree. This Neewer Basics tripod is slightly larger, but it weighs a few ounces less. It also has the monopod option, and the double extension of the center pole gives it a substantial height advantage over the BeFree. I also like the more ergonomically friendly Arca Ball head. I haven't checked the pricing lately, but I suspect this Neewer tripod is less than half the cost of the BeFree. It's extremely easy to use, and it comes with a storage bag. It's good companion for the photographer that enjoys hiking and the outdoors. I would highly recommend this hidden gem of a travel tripod - it would also make an excellent gift.
