Features

  • Variable ND2-ND32 Camera Lens Filters- This variable camera lens filter features 5 stops of exposure brightness, from ND2, ND4, ND8, ND16 to ND32 (the numbers represent how much light enters the lens in terms of a fraction). Use this filter to gain more control over exposure and shutter speed when shooting rivers, waterfalls, light trails, etc
  • No X cross dark spot- With markers on the frame, rotate the filter to accurately adjust ND stop with ease. When mounted on a wide-angle lens, no need to worry about X cross dark spot.
  • Multi-Layer Nano Coated HD Optical Glass- Made of premium Japanese AGC optical glass, the high-definition ND filter delivers a cinematic photo look without distorting the image quality. The 30 layers of double-sided Nanocoatings, with 0.1% minimum light reflectivity, reduce flare and ghosting while protecting the filter against moisture, oil, dust, and scratches
  • Professional Build- The aircraft-grade aluminum frame makes the filter lightweight. 0.37"/9.5mm thick (including thread, 0.29"/7.4mm thick excluding thread), this ultra-slim filter helps avoid vignetting. Finished in black matte and CNC precisely machined, it is durable and has zero chance of being jammed on the lens
  • About its Compatibility- This ND filter can only fit a same-size camera lens. Please confirm the filter thread size marked on your camera with the "Ф" (diameter) symbol before ordering. When mounted on the camera, the ND filter also protects your camera lens from scratches. A protective case and cleaning cloth are also included.

I’ve always been impressed with Neewer products, especially considering they’re positioned as a budget-friendly photographic brand. I already own several of their items—ranging from LED lights to filters and tripods—and I've consistently found them to offer great value for the price.Neewer offers a variety of ND filters, including this standard model, their higher-end TrueColors range, and ND/polariser combinations. I initially considered the TrueColors version, but since this particular model was on offer—and my need for an ND filter is only occasional—I decided to go with the more affordable option.Naturally, I had some concerns about potential compromises in image quality, such as colour shifts, vignetting, or the dreaded "X-pattern" that can occur with variable ND filters. To test it out, I did a basic comparison, shooting in RAW with and without the filter. The results were very reassuring. I found no visible vignetting or X-marking, and the image quality remained excellent—virtually indistinguishable from the unfiltered shots. There was a slight colour shift, but it was only noticeable when directly comparing the images side by side. For most users, especially those shooting in JPEG with auto white balance, this minor shift would likely go unnoticed. And for RAW shooters, it’s easy to correct in post-processing.Overall, this ND filter exceeded my expectations for a budget product. It's a solid choice if you’re looking for an affordable, effective solution without sacrificing image quality.

This is such a simple add on to my lens. The variable ND works so easy and is so slick. Great to stick in my camera bag and always have it. I highly recommend this!
