So far, I have shot two weddings with this on my gimble, and I have no idea how you could use a gimbal without an extension like this, It feels great, it's very stable and easy To put on and it feels really good quality And it's very lightweight.

I generally have good experiences with Neewer products, and this carbon fiber gimbal extension pole is no exception. It works equally-well with my lightweight phone gimbals and larger gimbals such as the FeiyuTech Scorp Mini + mirrorless camera with compact lens. When used with the latter, the weight of the included tripod legs serves as a counterbalance in-hand, and when placed on a surface, the tripod has a large enough footprint to feel stable despite the weight of gimbal + camera. Build quality is quite nice, with no flaws or delamination to the carbon fiber rods. Another reviewer expressed concerns about how "hollow" the pole feels... If you're new to carbon fiber, well, yes, it does, and it's perfectly fine. Beyond its intended purpose as an extension, this pole + tripod legs also work well as a stand for an LED light or even a webcam. Add your own phone clamp and leave the legs at home, and you have yourself a nice, lightweight selfie stick. This is simple, yet versatile item.

This is a great little extension pole for a number of uses. Sure you can use it for your gimbal, but it’s also great as a small desktop tripod with the included base. This is actually the way I am using it. It’s very sturdy and holds up my mirrorless camera without a problem. Big thumbs up.

This is a light weight gimpal extension pole with a metal tripod for you to balance the gimbal. It feels very good in the hands and it’s very sturdy for how light it is. Also, the way you can put away the tripod and the extension is brilliant.Sadly, probably not the fault of this unit, but when I unscrewed this from my Weebill S, it pulled out the thread from my gimbal making my gimbal unbalanceable. I’ve tested the extension pole with other accessories such has lights and flash stands and I had no problem so it must’ve been an accident, but I thought I’d warn others as Zhiyun’s design of the Weebill S’s may fail prematurely. Other than that, this is a lightweight unit that’s very versatile whether you use it for gimbals or even handheld lights and it’s easy one to recommend.

This pole helps me a lot in so many situations where I just needed the gimbal to be a little longer. This solves that problem, it's made with good quality material and seems to be pretty resistant. The size is also adjustable, so you can extend it as needed. The tripod on the bottom makes it really convenient to place it anywhere while not in use, makes all the difference when you don't really have a good spot to place it. Great product overall!

This thing is a little bit of a do all. First off I have to say I’m really amazed by the build quality. The carbon fiber is extremely nice and so are the metal parts. It stores back up very quickly, though, if you wanted to go crazy, I guess you get a couple sets of quick release, but I love the way it works right now. It’s just long enough to use as a selfie stick, and is also going to be great to use with a larger gimbal. However, the thing I really excited about is using it with an Osmo!
