I was lucky to had the chance to try the PS013 model too and I think the two of these offer a great set of choices for a V mount battery plate.This PS015 model is a much smaller, lighter weight model. It still has some 1/4" mounting points on the vertical section of the plate, so to a certain limit you can either use this as a pseudo L-bracket if you use a square quick release plate, or simply mount different gear onto it when the V-mount isn't required. This model does come with a 1/4" V-mount plate though, which really does add a lot more flexibility to what you mount up there, be it a handle (weird but can work, for safety reasons I wouldn't fully rely on the handle as the only carrying point though since V-mounts aren't made for carrying your camera), a light, a flash, a battery (as intended) or battery adapter for NP-F type batteries for instance. The options really open up.The length distance adjustment lever is a lot tighter to operate than the PS013, which is unfortunate, but it does at least lock really solidly. The angle adjustment is an easy and position-adjustable screw-locking lever, and it holds the angle pretty good but not 100% solid no matter how tight you tighten it. It won't move with equipment mounted on it, but if you try to pry it, it will open up a little. Good safety measure against bumps?The Arca Swiss compatible clamp works well, thought he locking mechanism mostly works best with the ones included, where there are ][ shaped hooks on the bottom to prevent slippage on both orientation. The safety pin can be easily and entirely disengaged, which is great too.The only thing this PS015 model does differently from the PS013 model is that the angle adjustment only has a roughly 90 degree range, meaning it can open up flat at maximum while the PS013 has a 180 degree range meaning you can mount your V-mount battery below your camera if you so wish to.But overall, this is a great lighter weight model that also comes with the handy V-lock plate that opens up a lot more versatility to your mounting needs.

Fits perfectly on my Lumix s5iix. I like the locking and tilting mechanism for the v mount battery. It's also surprisingly not so heavy. comes with a plate.

As long as your other mounts fit correctly, this is a really great battery mount. For me, the only issue is that I have other arca plates and some don't fit as is.This is not specific to this mount, but the locking method that prevents the plate from sliding out is not standard. This one has a screw that can be flipped out from the base. I have bases with screws at different locations and not all plate have the recessed to allow them. Some plates have screws on them, these plates won't slide in. As mentioned, this is not specific to this mount. This is something to consider, but I don't remove stars as this is not a surprise either, and the kit work perfectly as a whoile set.I really like the mount, it folds flat and take only a small space. The included feet are pefect to setup everything before installing on the tripod or while the camera is off the tripod. The mount is versatile, many mounting holes to adapt to differnet situation. The Arca plate is thick, which leaves extra clearance for dummy abttery cable. The slots goes close to the edge, which I like since I can install the plate without blocking the battery door.The finish is great, nice black hard anodization, typical to Neewer product. Overall, a pretty good kit.

This V mount battery plate is great for long shoots, allowing me to attach my V mount batter and plug it right into my camera to keep it running much longer. The quality is fantastic and durable. Neewer keeps knocking these products out of the park.

The L-shaped V-lock battery plate from brand NEEWER is designed specifically to function with their V style batteries, of which they have several varieties, but all with the same V lock mechanism built into them, so that they can be compatible with any type of mounting option also created by the company for the purpose of video production and other things people need these batteries for.It functions as advertised. It is a very well-made, adjustable L shape as noted, and can be screw-mounted onto a variety of areas on a camera rig. I personally have it in the back of my tripod setup for documentary video work, and it sits directly behind my camera now thanks to this locking plate. I have no complaints. It was exactly what I needed, and if you understand the need, you will be getting one too, I have no doubt. 5 stars.

As a Sony A7 IV user, this V-mount battery plate has been a fantastic addition to my gear. It’s perfect for those long video sessions where you need extra battery life. Great machining, good locking on every knob and click lock.Holds a V mount perfectly and the included quick plate lets you mount basically anything you want instead.The arca swiss plate release could be a slide lock instead of a knob to make it faster but its not a big deal.Great on my rig to add a nice mounting point for my video transmitter.
