The quick release function makes this tripod very convenient for a quick setup. Each leg has one latch that controls the whole length of the leg. Once you have your height set, you just have to level out the head and you’re good to go.The fluid head is very nicely made for the price point. It’s not as good as expensive ones, but I do think for about 70% of users it has enough quality to work perfectly. The other 30% are those who whip their cameras back and forth a lot (think news and sports photographers) because this isn’t very smooth once you get into fast motion.In terms of durability, I think this is made to last. Yes, if you’re rough on it the plastic knobs could break. If you go leaning on it fully extended, the legs could bend. With common sense while using it this shouldn’t be an issue.The only part I think may give out fairly soon is the bag’s zipper. It’s just not up to par with the rest of the tripod kit’s quality. So if you’re the type that carries their tripod over their shoulder in the bag, keep an eye on it for any tears or strain on the zipper pull.It’s a little heavy, but that goes back into it being durable. You have to have a little heft in order to support your rig. For this price, this tripod is a steal.

This tripod is bigger, heavier, and more stable than any other tripod I've owned. It feels professional grade. I put my camcorder on it and I can pan and tilt with precision and control. Just comparing the feet of this tripod with my old one tells the whole story. This is a stable tripod. This is the type of tripod you could mount a telescope to and stargaze without fighting movements.It is much bigger and heavier than other tripods. The bag is a welcome component for transport and storage. The bag has a zippered pocket labelled "tools", which arrives with just the longer bag strap in it, but is much appreciated.

This is my first professional tripod, and it's built like a tank. It effortlessly supports my largest, bulkiest camera with a 17.6lb weight capacity and includes both 1/4" and 3/8" screws. I like that the tripod supports a 360 panoramic view and that it's made with high construction double tubed aluminum alloy. It also moves fluidly and includes a quick release plate. I appreciate that it goes 78.7 inches tall and the fact that Neewer includes a heavy-duty carrying bag. Simply top-notch in every way!

This may just help out a dream of mine that I have wanted to do for years and that is become a YouTube influencer. I’ve got the gift of gab, I’m not afraid to put myself out there in front of people, but I’ve always just never had the equipment or the understanding of the equipment to be able to do this. Tripod is one of the bricks that I will need to build this foundation, it is a very tall tripod which I love because you can take video of it shooting down at an angle just as well as level. It is also very sturdy and when your video camera is on this tripod there is no moving at all it will not even flinch even if you are jumping around right next to it which yes I did do that intentionally to see . I will say after you pull it out of the bag good luck getting it back in, but that seems to be everything out there these days they want to pack things so tight you can get it in once but you can never get it in twice so I have a different bag that I’ve been I need to put it back.

This is more tripod than I need most days since I use light cameras and don't generally need to get up as high as this goes, but the height is really useful if you are recording over the shoulder shots to match eyelines, and for singles to match eyelines - something far too many people skip doing these days, not even realizing it is a thing.The tripod is kind of heavy, but not un-expected for the size and sturdiness. The quick latch legs really do speed set up, as does the leveling head.Overall, this is an upgrade from my old Bogen 3040 which didn't go up nearly as high, even with the center column all the way up.
