NEEWER TH15/TH16 3-Way Geared Tripod Head

Good finishing, easy to adjust and fine tune.

This mount is very easy to use, it is extremely well-made and provides a considerable amount of support and manoeuvrability for a good sized camera and lens combo. It is all metal construction with rubber knobs, and I can only assume metal gearing on the inside for the adjusters. The increment adjustments are very fine and do not cause any springback and are very smooth through the full range of adjustment. Full disengagement of the adjustment lock allows for large movements of each dial for quick rough alignment and at no time did it feel loose like it was going to fall apart when using the rough adjust. There are 2 leveling bubbles located on the mount for both vertical and horizontal alignment. The numbers a the dials are way to read and are well printed. This is a great mount to set up with for product photography as it allows for quick adjustments and new positions when changing out subject matter.I love this mount and am really happy with it.

I have an older Manfrotto Art 190 tripod that I've been slowly updating. This head was the perfect addition to modernize it. I was able to adapt the head and found it to be extraordinarily well-made. Adjustments are quick with the fine-tuning dials, and the 360-degree movement works perfectly. The build quality is impressive, and I've been able to fine-tune my tripod for product photography.It's very easy to recommend.

Like all other Neewer equipment, this is another high quality accessory. This replaces the head on your tripod, and comes with a 1/4" sliding shoe. It has extreme accuracy, allowing you to move it very slowly to get a precise position for things such as long distance shots with a lot of zoom in use (very distant landscape, sun, and moon).In my case, I still kept the main pan attachment on the tripod, because I find it helps with the "finding the area" first. Then I use the Neewer head to dial in the exact location. For moon pictures, this is great for minor adjustments (because the moon is always moving, and will move out of the shot if you don't adjust it).Very heavy, and heavy-duty. You can easily put a heavy DSLR/mirrorless with a big telephoto lens on this, without it jamming or loosening.5 stars from me, a fantastic piece of equipment.

Photography has been a hobby of mine for many years, and I’ve acquired various gear over this time. The NEEWER 3 Way Geared Tripod Head is a professional level head that I will have fun learning to use with my DSLR cameraOnce installed on a good solid tripod it provides several ways to pivot the camera and obtain creative shots that can normally be hard to get. On the head are 2 bubble levels, one of which is on the back of the quick camera release plate knob and the other is on the front.The head is big and heavy, so it’s solid, has three adjustments and each of these have a quick and fine adjustment.The bottom right adjustment pivots the camera 360 degrees, the left adjustment pivots the camera up and down and the top adjustment pivots the camera sideways for portrait and landscape. Each of these can be adjusted quickly or finely adjusted to exactly where you want the camera and then locked.There is a small 360 degree rotating plate that is fixed to the bottom of the camera and then gets locked onto the quick release plate on the head. This plate has a 360 degree rotating knob that unlocks easily to get fine movement of the camera while filming and then can be locked.Compared to my small manually adjusted pivoting ball head that came with my tripod, this NEEWER head has so much more fine adjustments. I’m not a professional level photographer, and this is really impressive to me.I will be using this with several different lenses and the biggest I own is a 70-300mm lens which is quite heavy, but works fine with this head. The max weight supported is 6kg.
