Great budget key light. Not the brightest, but if you’re working with a camera that has dual-native ISO, you’ll be able to get a lot of mileage out of less than desirable lighting conditions.
This is no Arri light, but it gets the job done. I’ve used it for several video shoots. The phone control works great, output is unbeatable. Only thing I find a bit of a pain is the power cord and large cable brick can be a bit of an annoyance if you have the light up high on a stand
I needed a continuous light for portraits of nervous dogs or those averse to flash. It also serves well for my photography training videos for a dog photography group. This light is powerful, allowing me to shoot at ISO 200, f/7.1, and 1/200 sec, as long as the dog remains still during the exposure. It's quiet and offers adjustable color temperature.
Excellent light. I use it not only for video but also for photography. I often take myself in photo and my camera had difficulties to focus because of low light event if I was in a well lit indoor room. So this LED light is perfect to allow my camera to focus straight on my eye. And it's grat to be able to change the color temperature to adapt it to the ambient lights.
This is a fantastic light. Well made and the controls are intuitive. Adjusting the temperature is easy and accurate and the app control is just an added bonus. Paired with an 85cm softbox, it is a perfect key light for a small studio
