I brought my FIRST Telescope a Month ago, and the Reason I gave it a 3.5 rating was because of the Bad Eye Pieces and Barrow Lends giving... You couldn't see out of Either of the accessories giving, ALL I could see was BLACKNESS and NO the Caps was removed and instead of returning it I tried my luck on Purchasing New Eye Pieces INCLUDING this BARROW LENDS from NEEWER. Apon Receiving I IMMEDIATELY Seen GREAT Results... A GREAT and Highly Recommended Product that I am GREATFUL that I Purchased when I did... 5/5stars

I’ve recently had the opportunity to test a wide range of economy eyepieces, nearly a couple dozen in all. Of all my testing of multiple brands, Neewer rose to the top as providing the best view at a very low price. This Barlow lens is no exception, providing crisp clear views of the heavens as long as your eyepiece is of equal or better quality. This Barlow is a notch up from the 2X Barlow included in the Neewer 14-piece eyepiece and filter kit, with the nice little addition of a rubber grip ring on the body. Like the 2X kit Barlow, this 3X also uses a brass compression ring to hold your eyepiece in place without scratching it — another top quality feature. If it says Neewer on it, buy with confidence. Recommended!

Nice quality all metal. The diamond grip is a nice touch. I really like the internal brass eyepiece clamp. I keep it just tight enough to keep the eyepiece snug but loose enough to easily just pull it out without loosening the screw. I used a 25mm and a 32mm eyepiece on my Celestron with nice results. I first zone in on the object without the barlow then quickly swap the eyepiece out with the barlow already attached to a 25mm or32mm eyepiece. In using it, I found that anything lower than the 25mm was not very effective for me. This is a very nice lens for the price. I was pleasantly surprised.

This is actually a much better Barlow lens than I anticipated. It’s all metal construction, feels very sturdy, and works well without introducing excessive aberrations. Other reviewers have already detailed most of the great aspects of this lens, and I think the optical quality is good enough on this that I’d say a casual observer can get away with using this along with a few good low power eye pieces to really expand your kit, and avoid buying a lot of higher power lenses. Of course, like with any Barlow, your FOV is more limited, and you can quickly pass the threshold of too much magnification to be useful. The only real drawback is that this 3x is bulky enough, and heavy enough (all metal construction) that it actually throws my telescope off balance. Final Rating: 5 stars. This is a great 3x Barlow.
