When I'm at a camping spot the view of the sky isn't always at the angle a standard Starlink mount provides. This mount allows you to clamp onto the side of your RV or trailer and aim the dish into the clear spot through the trees, around buildings, or around whatever might be blocking the signal. You may not know, but the Starlink dish doesn't have to be pointed like they suggest. You really need to point it wherever you will get the best view of the sky which might be straight up or at a steep angle. This clamp mount let's you do just that.

I already have an ST83 mount to use my compact camera in my top down/ tabletop filming setup. I have a light attached to this one and it works very well. This clamp mechanism has rubber pads to prevent orminimize metal on metal rubbing. You may still get some minor scuffs. This model also comes with a removeable adapter to work with your star link product.

I'm with the review "Herd" here, on this NEEWER Starlink mini mount clamp kit.And yes, per quite a lot of us using and reviewing this clamp kit - its abilities beyond the advertised one (which I'm quite sure it will do an excellent job of doing!) = why I snagged it up to review in the 1st place..I've had previous experience with these kinds of "crab" clamps and ball socket extensions, and use them pretty extensively for use primarily with camera gear, which is what this very well made mounting clamp and arm, will be also doing for its immediate future. One character feature of this clamp that I have not seen on any other type, and one of the chief reasons to try it out = The padded, and adjustable "feet" on the clamp-end of the clamp. I saw this feature as being quite useful for additional clamping force on both thin and smooth surfaces, and even as a way to turn the clamp into a bit of a freestanding bi-pod mount as well, and it actually does accomplish this, but take this bit of advice with you: It doesn't do the freestanding bi-pod mount very well - the adjustable feet could use to be just a bit larger here to offer some stability, as you will need to carefully balance anything you try using on it in such a manner, and I don't really recommend doing it if you're putting anything expensive on the mount and NOT ADDING some additional means of stability as well - just better by far to use the clamp as intended. It definitely clamps to everything, flat, round, even a bit asymmetrical, very, very well....Quality construction throughout, nice black finish also.Multiple 1/4in.x20 threaded "standard" for camera gear & other equipment, holes added on the clamp and arm, plus even a cold shoe mount for even more versatility beyond a mere Starlink antenna mount = a total gadget gear clamp win! 😎My only "complaint" (And not a complaint at all) would be the ball socket arm being attached to the clamp in a "permanent" manner - but it likely isn't permanent, as I suspect it's attached to the clamp with some threadlocker to keep it from coming loose in its "intended application" as a Starlink receiver mount arm, so undoubtedly a more solidly mounted to the clamp method to make sure it doesn't come loose from the clamp in that fashion. No hurry to test this and try getting it loose from the clamp, it works just fine for me as it is.I suspect that it will likely work well for whatever other ideas strike your fancy above and beyond the intended Starlink mount capability.Enjoy its excellent versatility and build quality! 😊The price at review time ($16.99 - 7/2025) = Very nice for what you're getting, and under the price of some not-as-good, same types of clamps and ball arms out there.Highly recommended! And definitely 5-Star stuff!

This super clamp assembly from NEEWER has two major components; the model ST-83 super clamp and an NA02 Starlink adapter. Functionally, it’s the ST-83 that provides the clamping capability and versatility. For my applications, the ST-83 has to have the following:✅ First, adjustable flat pads at the tip of each crab claw so the clamp can be used on the ledge of a table or similar overhang. The pads on the ST-83 assembly rotate freely and are cushioned with thick rubber pads to strengthen the grip and protect furniture from damage. This is probably the most important feature for my applications. And the model ST-83 checks out just fine.NOTE: Like virtually all super clamps, the ST-83 can also grip poles up to 2.4-inches in diameter. Padding on the inside surface of the crab claw ensures a tight grip, without scratching the mounting surface.✅ Second, the super clamp has to have extra mounting ports on the crab claws to expand the complexity of the set-up. With the model ST-83, there’s not only an extra 1/4”-20 threaded port (total of 3) that can accept attachments like a second magic arm, there’s also a cold shoe. This is the first time I’ve seen a super clamp with a cold shoe, and that’s a distinct advantage.✅ Third, the magic arm extension has to have a 1/4”-20 threaded stud at the end for attaching devices like LED fill lights. Although the model ST-83 ships with a Starlink mount attached to the magic arm, it’s connected via a standard 1/4”-20 threaded stud. All ll I have to do is replace it with a device of my choosing. For example, LED fill lights.✅ Finally, I normally prefer magic arms that have rubber o-rings built-in to a groove around the ball head. I have found that this design, compared to varieties that use metal-on-metal contacts, is generally more secure. This is due to the gripping power of the rubber o-ring. However, there are exceptions. And the model ST-83 super clamp assembly appears to be one of them. The reason for this has to do with the way the socket fully engulfs the ball head. Ensuring near uniform coverage of the overlapping metal surfaces. A large spring-loaded wing nut controls the tension on the magic arm ball head joints. Once it's tightened down, the ball heads are locked in place. With no slipping or movement of any kind. It’s an effective design.✅ The overall build of the ST-83 is solid. The crab claw clamp is fabricated from quality stock aluminum. Clamp tension is controlled with a large spring-loaded wing nut that is similarly fabricated from stock aluminum. All of the threaded ports have been cut with precision, and accept compatible screws without issue.👍 RECOMMENDATION 👍I’m a big fan of super clamps, but that doesn’t mean I’m an easy sell. After using the NEEWER ST-83 super clamp assembly for several days, I can say with confidence that it meets my demanding expectations. In both structure and function. Equally important, the price is an incredible value at only $16.99. And yet there’s a 20% coupon that’s currently available that will drop the price even more. Bottom line, It’s a solid product at a bargain price. And for that reason, it has won my recommendation, along with a 5-star quality and performance rating. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is a surprisingly heavy-duty mount considering its compact size. The all-metal construction gives it serious holding power, and once you tighten it down, it’s not going anywhere. I mounted it on my wooden porch railing and tested it with equipment ranging from a lightweight X3 camera to something as hefty as a Starlink terminal—and it handled everything with ease. Wind? Not a problem. This mount stays exactly where you put it.Pros:* Full metal construction for excellent durability* Holds securely with zero wobble* Handles light and heavy gear equally well* Easy to tighten and position exactly where you need itCons:* None noted—it performs exactly as neededMy Use Case:I’m always experimenting with mounting systems for various equipment on my porch, from cameras to communication gear. This clamp gave me peace of mind that whatever I attach won’t budge, even in the wind.Tips for Buyers:Make sure the surface you're mounting to is sturdy—this clamp won’t move, so your surface needs to hold up too. Great for railings, poles, or any edge you can grip.Final Verdict:Overall, an outstanding mount for anyone needing a secure, no-compromise hold. One of the best clamp systems I’ve used.

This is on of the best mounting clamps that I have tried. The clamp is solid anodized aluminum with several holes tapped for 1/4"-20. It has both curved and (swiveling) flat jaws with rubberized faces that will firmly grip a wide range of flat and curved surfaces without marring. There is a double-ball attachment with a Starlink mount. What I really like, is that if you unscrew the puck-shaped Starlink mount, you uncover a standard 1/4"-20 tripod screw. That means you can use this clamp for almost any small camera, or other device with a tripod screw hole, or (with the corresponding adapter) a phone or GoPro. There's even a cold-shoe bracket on the mount in case you want to attach a speedlight. In short, you can clamp a wide variety of devices (not just Starlink) to just about any pole, rail, board, or desk.

This is a great clamp for more than just Starlink. It can expand to about 2.375"- The description said 2.4", close enough. The aluminum is good for indoor or outdoor use, though I'm not sure the rubber grips will survive a long time outside. I think the plastic will be fine.It grips well to both flat and curved objects- be it a table, railing, or pole. It can hold a fair bit of weight with the arm tightened down- about 6 lbs or so, should you be attaching things other than Starlink to it.The clamp itself is Neewer's "Super Clamp"- and at the time of writing, this starlink adapter version is cheaper than the clamp by itself- therefore, to me, it's the better value. It has the regular 1/4" camera mount, so you can connect all kinds of equipment to it- I put a light on it in the photos. It doesn't have male 3/8" thread, but the clamp itself does have female threads for 1/4" and 3/8" + locating pins, along with cold shoe mounts on the "jaws" section. The starlink adapter is well made with 1/4"-20 holes on both sides, though the side locking pin hole is a little crusty with some kind of hardened white-ish gunk. Functionally, this won't matter, since it's just a little bit and the screw can still lock down inside of the hole. It can probably be scraped out, if it's a problem.

This is a super nice clamp setup. It's heavy and well made with a very nice finish. All parts are well fitted and made heavy. It is also very adjustable with 2 hinge point, making it easy to mount your starlink at whatever angle you need. It super easy to use and locks up super tight with a very strong hold. It's intended purpose is for starlink or electronics, but it makes a great vise for LockSport. It's heavy, well made, and very high quality. Good price, good item, good quality, what more could you ask for? Get one or two
