The Neewer Upgraded Softbox Diffuser is a must-have accessory for anyone owning the NL660 RGB660 PRO II LED Video Light Panels. This foldable softbox, complete with a grid, bag, and blackout hood, offers a quick and easy way to soften and evenly distribute light. Honestly, I was not a big fan of my NL660's prior to getting this softbox. In my opinion this is perfect for creating professional-looking videos and photos. The only downside is its a bit tricky to install at first. Once you've done it once or twice it'll be easy to do moving forward!

hard to put on the grid, seemed too tight but I eventually wrestled it on there. Works great. Great adjustability

Absolutley in LOVE with this soft box. I've had my 660's for a few years and rarely used them outside of specific cases when i needed hard light or a splash of colour. Getting this softbox definitely changed that for me. Works amazing as a key light or fill light now. Couldn't be happier with this purchase. Easy to assemble, strudy as heck and the included egg crate came in clutch already. Definitely pick these up.

Snug fit, with even lighting. Works well fixed in place to soften an LED panel for an unmoving, fixed setup for Zoom meetings. It's a bit fiddly to attach, and I don't use the sewn-in shroud that makes the back light-tight. It seems to cut out most of the cooling air too. I'd want something faster to set up and take down for shooting on location. So it's an entirely adequate product if you have one of the Neewer panels that it's designed for.

I have a NEEWER LED video light panel that's apparently now been replaced. My NL480S seemed to have similar size to the NL660 so I chanced it. I am pleased to say it fits my video light well. The barn doors go outside the diffuser and everything fits around the back well. The diffuser softens and cuts light down well, and is easy to attach/detach with velcro. The grid is similarly easy and attaches in the same manner, if you need additional direction to your light. I wish it all stored a little more easily but as my light is pretty much fixed for my product setup, I've just left everything on all the time.

The one thing that you want a soft box to do is to produce soft light and this diffuser does a very good job of that. The diffuser comes in a small bag and its assembly is straightforward enough for you not to need to look at any instructions as long as you remember that it is not square - when you are assembling it, if it doesn't seem to fit then it probably goes on the next side. The joints are entirely Velcro and there are some straps that tension the thing up. The main structure is from solid and clearly metal trapezia that form the sides like a truncated pyramid. Straps go along the back and hold the light in place and then you can put the white diffuser on the front. One thing that will strike you is that all of the structural material is ripstop - that is to say that at regular intervals across the material, there is a thick thread so that if there is a tear, it cannot propagate very easily across the thicker thread. The white diffuser is no exception. Finally, the grid goes in front of the white diffuser so that light is not spilled sideways - effectively making the diffuser into a series of small diffusers, each with its own barn doors. This has the effect that it means that the light from the diffuser is projected within a smaller angle and secondly, light should not be spilling into your camera lens and causing problems there.Unlike the rest of it, the grid is not ripstop and is fairly delicate looking but it is the last thing that you put on it and as long as you are careful, it should last a long time. The resulting light that is produced by the sot box very even as you can see from not only the illumination of the subject but also from how evenly its shadow is cast. This is a good diffuser that is really easy to set up and equally, stores away in a nice, small bag. My only criticism would be the use of Velcro which at some stage, will start to fail from repeated use so if you can, once it is set up, leave it set up.
