I've waited a while to review this battery to make sure it is a good long term solution. So it's been about 4 years since I bought it as a spare battery for my Sony A7R* . During this time of shooting over a 100,000 images (lots of deleted pictures) I used the original and Neewer battery on a alternating basis. I did not observe any noticeable difference in the two batteries with respect to the number of images per full charge, charging time and dimensional stability of the battery. I had some initial hesitation in buying the Neewer but now I would have no hesitation in buying another Neewer battery if I needed one. I did notice that the Sony battery is a slightly tighter fit in the charger and the Neewer is just a tiny bit looser but this does not affect the charging in the charger or the fit in the camera.

I'm writing this review after using it for past 7 months now. Still going good. It gives good backup almost as good as original. Fully recommend buying. I'm using Sony A6600 if u wanted to know.

This battery doesn't even give off a Non Sony battery warning on my Sony A7RIIIBattery life seems better then original Sony battery.

I bought two of these and they are as good as the Sony OEM one's. No compatibility issues. There is no point in spending 100$+ for the original batteries when these cheap options exist.
