This lamp is awesome. Even using the red color the light is soo powerful. Love the control over the app too. Very easy to use.

We use this for birthday party photobooths. It's a lot of fun. Initial set up was quite extensive for people who don't use this kind of stuff regularly. Has a lot of really cool features.

Great value for dollar. Easy setup, good quality, plenty of features. Can't beat it for the price.

I've been really pleased with this ring light from Neewer.I picked it up because it had the RGB and not just the temperature adjustments like so many lights do. I was impressed with the case the light comes in, both for construction and the little hidden place for the light stand to be tucked away. The light itself is shaped like nearly all other ring lights with a small attachment point for a camera or a phone holder. The controls on the light are dead simple to use and its easy to dial up exactly the color or temperature you want.I didn't use the phone mount but did take shots through the ring of my subject (people and things).It does have the standard effect that nearly every light has but I never use them.The final quirky thing is the microphone on the front of the light. You can set the light to pulse to the music. Neat but I never used it more than a couple of times to mess around.Overall a really good light for the price point with my only real suggestion is have an onboard battery so you can run the light for a short time without the power cord.If you're looking for an RGB option for the studio or something to help with your product work, this should be on your short list to look at. I’ve been using this ring light for video calls and some at-home photography, and it’s been pretty helpful. The adjustable brightness is great, especially when working in low-light spots like my basement. It's lightweight and easy to move around, which makes setup a breeze.The only downside is that the stand feels a bit flimsy when fully extended, so I’d recommend using a weight for stability. Switching between the different light settings takes a bit of time, but overall, it works well for my needs and adds a nice professional touch to my setup.

This is more than the traditional ring light with color temperature and brightness. It also has RGB! Working with colored light is one of my new passions. In addition, the special effects feature is also nice for videography. The light is well built. I really like the touch screen. It not only looks professional, but is very easy to use. The menus are intuitive (only four buttons), and the display is bold and easy to read. There is also a “Music” special effect that pulses light to a beat. I tested this out and it works great. This is not a feature I typically use, but maybe now that I have it I will incorporate it into something I’m doing.Something else that is great is that you get a power cord that is actually long enough to reach the floor when the light stand is extended. The light stand is average quality. Compared to the quality of the light, it is a little bit of a let down. However, I’m more interested in the light and I have other light stands if I want to change out.It does come with a bag for packing. There are two compartments in the bag: one for the light stand at the bottom and one for the ring light on top. The bag also has additional pockets for carrying extra items. The bag is good quality and has handles and a shoulder strap.The light is a little pricier than some of the other ring light options on the market, but the power of the light is excellent and the control panel is really good (much better than other options). I do wish the stand was a little better quality, but overall it is a great light and I’m enjoying using it. Five stars.

Another great Neewer product! Nice build quality, nice price, and easy to use.This is the coolest ring light that I've ever used. The light output is great and has so much range with brightness.The RGB is one of my favorite parts though. The colors are bright and vibrant, and it makes this light super versatile for almost any idea that you have.All of the added accessories are an added bonus and it makes this light ready to shoot right out of the box.This is the most fun ring light that I've ever used.

This is such a really nice light ring with so many options! It feels professional in terms of quality. I have been using this light for several weeks now with no issues at all.To begin with, this is the nicest tripod that I have ordered. It is heavy and sturdy. It's perfect for recording video outdoors with a breeze or recording indoors on carpet, as it does not wobble! The app is really the fastest way to adjust the lighting. It is easy to operate with the app. I mostly use the solid white light mode or the solid colored light mode as opposed to the other modes. The control panel integrated into the light is slower than the app and so I don't use it. I leave the light on sleep/standby mode and turn it on/off via the app.It comes with a phone holder and a threaded bolt attachment for holding a camera/web cam etc. I use this ring light with both my iPhone and EMEET web cam. It holds them both securely. There is a tiny remote that I honestly don't use but it does function. There is a very well written instruction book included as well.The large storage/travel bag is a nice bonus so you can transport the light and tripod safely.Overall, this tripod and light have exceeded my expectations in both the function and quality of the light and stand. I highly recommend this product without hesitation!

This is a nice large RGB ring light. I'll personally use mostly the regular light temperatures on this ring light as I haven't found a use for the RGB colors. I tend to use other COB or LED Bars when I need RGB colors.The light comes in a well made bag that fits the light and stand perfectly. Every part of the components feel high quality except the phone mount, which feels cheap.The light provides a good amount of light, approximately similar to 50W COB LED lights at max brightness.The light quality is pretty good. The individual LEDs are visible so the diffusion is not perfect but adequate. The controls are intuitive and easy to use.This ring light doesn't have a built-in NP-F or V-mount connector. So if you want to use this light in a portable setting, you'll need a custom battery plate with DC output.

This is a good size for close up or video work. The quality of light is good, and skin tones render well.The lamp will be marginally useful as an on-set ring of color as well. BUT the large plastic control panel is not great. Buttons are software, not clicky, and it's easy to accidentally hit one when moving or adjusting the light.It would be much better to have placed these on the back, with no "hump" and display in the center of the ring...particularly since there's a phone app offering for control. That is a slightly disappointing aspect of the product, as is the plastic-y built in stand adapter. While these aren't deal breakers, they detract from the professional appeal of the light.I could have done without the stand, the little shutter controller, etc. if that had been put into making a more solid light with professional mounts and no stick-up subject facing controls. Perhaps this is more ideally aimed at the home user who just wants some solid lighting and those kinds of conveniences. For that user it's probably ideal. For me, it's a decent light source at a reasonable price--but one that I will have to baby a bit and work around its prosumer features to use in some settings.Still, a solid four-star item. And the bag is a value add, with space in the bottom for the little stand.
