got this on a deal. This is an awesome light. The third light I bought after 2 prior disappointments and this light is a must buy. so easy to use, the remote is great and the assembly is easy, height-adjustable and super sturdy.

Right from the start of unpacking this item I was impressed. This is a quality set up.I took me a while to get a hang of all of the lighting modes this rig can do. Well, to be honest, there are so many variations I am still a long way from fully learning them all. This is really impressive. The control panel mounted to the back of the ring with the integrated display has quality jog dial knobs that also have a good tactile feel. Once you get a hang of using the two dials in unison you are able to fully cycle through all available modes, change colour temps and also access special modes. There are really so many features it would be hard to try to list them all. (Just refer to the spec. details in the listing itself)The actual stand that is included with this kit is downright HUGE! It is very robust and the folding legs at the base create a wide diameter spread that makes the rig quite stable. It is a good quality aluminum alloy by the look and feel of it. I think the only thing I can say that I dont like about the stand is that it cannot fit in the light ring carrying bag! Its just too big. I have an idea for that though which is to attach some hanging velcro straps to the exterior of the carrying bag which I will then use to wrap around the stand in its folded state and secure it to the outide of the carrying case. I think that will work out well.All in all, I am extremely impressed with this overall rig kit in its entirety. It is now the most professional grade light ring that I possess and I am making good use of it as I get into some YouTube content creation (albeit as a relative amateur at this point). The available phone app makes lighting mode selections quite easy to change and adjust but I also really appreciated that the integrated control panel mounted to the back of the ring itself can fully adjust all modes manually as well. The BT remote control works well and the robust stand with its huge, stable base is great. I appreciate that it also comes with a durable transport case. I think my only gripe if you will, is that I wish the case was even bigger in order to also accomodate the folded stand as well. But most of all, you can illuminate an entire room with just this one light!I can easily recommend this kit without any reservation and I feel that it is very good value for many given its versatility and its very robust build quality. I am going to give it a full 5!** NOTE: I just also want to point out one thing. When I first unpacked the ring I initially thought it was damaged. It was NOT. You may see the diffuser panel in sections in some of my pics. They are not broken! There are 4 separate pieces and they perfectly snap into place in order to cover all of the LED's beneath. I suppose that you can even make use of the ring without the panels in place but I always leave them attached.

This is an excellent ring light that works with both my phone and also my mirrorless camera. The brightness is excellent and goes way beyond anything else I have used! I was really impressed by the fact that the whites look and natural but this also delivers really good moody colors that add a lot of atmospheric effect. The scenes are icing on the cake that I haven't really found a use case for... but I'm sure some people will find a use for them as they are well done and look really good in a dimmed room.I am impressed by the carry case. It is nice and protective and a really professional looking way to bring it along with you on shoots. I don't really use these professional / outside the home so it's a bit wasted on me but if you shoot on location, this is a great inclusion provided you can hold the stand with one of your other bags.The base is stable and very securely holds my phone with a sturdy height adjustment system that doesn't leave me worried about stability at all.

I was so excited to get the Neewer Ring Light and it definitely has exceeded my expectations. I do a lot of social media work and streaming, and really needed something that could really up my game. This Ring Light gives me all the light I need to make my videos and photos look clean and professional. The connection from my phone to the Ring Light makes my work easier. Also, it was very easy to assemble. I highly recommend this Ring Light if you are looking for something that can level-up your videos and photos.
