NEEWER CL-05 Portable Collapsible Backdrop Holder

This holder has proven itself very versatile. It has worked really well for hanging reflectors when I didn't have a second hand to help out. As with anything else in this category, it mounts easily to pretty much any light stand. You can add a light in the middle, so it doesn't take away from the functionality of the light stand. They're basically helping hands that really do make your life easier.

Another excellent and innovative product from Neewer.I'm using it to hold round reflectors in the studio and it works great. One nice thing is that the crab claws have a slot in them which aligns with and securely grabs the metal rim that the folding reflectors all have around their perimeter. Of course, anything that can fit between the jaws can be held also.The all metal construction makes for a strong accessory for professionals and it's so much more reliable than the spring-loaded background clips that attach to the top of light stands.One thing I would like to have seen is a ball head behind each crab claw which would make the unit much more versatile for other rigging applications.

This reflector holder is made very well and is quite sturdy. It is another Neewer product that does exactly what it needs to do. I am very happy with it and know that it will get a lot use. I would highly recommend this to any photographer that uses reflectors or that needs a small background on location.

I like that this mount not only holds a collapsible backdrop, but also has a pin to mount something else, like a light in the center. Very stable in holding a backdrop, good quality construction, folds up relatively small. Good value for a great accessory.

This is a clever holder. It has a simple mount with two articulating arms. The clamps on the arms are sized/spaced to perfetly hold a background or reflector with a band in it.The multi-sided mount allows for vertical or horizontal placement (I prefer horizontal), but also includes a stud for mounting additional equipment, like a light.When I first ordered it, I assumed it would be a similar concept to a superclamp with two magic arms attached. It is similar, but the arms don't fully articulate like magic arms would. This means both arms will need to work together to support an object and cannot be used as two seperate clamps for unique placements. You also need to work with the mounting orientation to get the proper angle of your background or reflector.Overall, it does the job exactly as it is described. It would have been an amazing bonus for the flexiblity to full articulate the arms.
