This is a fantastic piece of kit. And to get two at this price feels like winning a prize.These days you can get small flashlight sized video lights which are lightweight, bright enough for video/photos and last a long time or will run on a PD Power bank such as the new Smallrig RGB LED Photog flashlight 4 colour lamp.These stands allow you to mount those kind of lights in a small space and create a studio pretty much wherever you need one.The only thing is it would be great if they came with a little ball-mount so you can tilt the light instead of just pan by moving the stand. You can see I added one here in the photo to allow pan tilt.For a portable studio, this is an invaluable piece of kit.It even folds up small enough to be contained by a little strip of velcro at the back of my camera bag.
Perfect size for what I needed. I have doubts about some of the plastic parts but we'll see...
All I can say about these stands is that they do the job I was looking for small stands for my backdrop that I could put behind people and shoot up the light on the backdrop. These are perfect for that job they’re low good quality so you don’t have to worry about them falling over and they do the job very good purchase of mine for my studio
I've been using it to hold webcam and 10" light. Provide pretty good height adjustments and it is stable (mostly)
Great little light stands. Pretty good quality and a great alternative when the full-sized ones aren't needed.
I have a couple of other much larger tripods but I needed a smaller one for my YouTube videos where I need to get photos with my smartphone using a Neweer light and a magic arm.This tripod is very sturdy when it is collapsed which is precisely what I needed.With it I can use my smartphone and light to get the perfect position.I have now ordered another one and another magic arm.
This little stand obviously serves a purpose but is nice for the little price tag attached. Could be built a little more robust but all in all nice.
This is one of those products that you need to be mindful that the product has a specific purpose and is priced accordingly.$20 Canadian for this is amazing! Just be sure to use it for small to medium LED light panels for background or accent lighting in photos and videos.The materials are decent. It is very light. The footprint is decent. And definitely not intended to hold cameras.I haven't used it too much, but for what I have, it's been great!
AMAZING, guys it's such a good product. You can literally use it for anything. Desk light yes, makeup yes, starting a Youtube Channel? yes.It's so affordable swell so it's a win win, I 10000% recommend.Also, to repeat these items DO NOT come together.
