I purchased the PA009 upgraded universal phone video rig to replace my Neewer CG100 universal phone rig kit because the new upgraded version phone mounting is extended outward by 18mm, this revision enables the add-on 67mm variable neutral density filter to be mounted and operated by turning the variable control lever without any obstruction. I like the top adjustable knob to tighten or release the mounting of the phone, much more secure than the older version CG100 phone rig, especially when I leave the thick phone case on the phone. There are 4 cold shoes on the rig and 2 additional cold shoes one on each side handle. I silicone taped a wireless bluetooth camera remote on top of one of the side handle cold shoe and it works perfectly. I connected my Samsung T7 SSD to my iPhone 15 Pro Max to shoot PRO RES 4K HQ video. I plan to add a USB C hub to mount on top of the phone rig to enable addition of a digital mic and a battery power pack. This phone rig is now my go-to high end video capture tool. I highly recommend this PA009 phone rig.
