Better than my Giotto monopod

I have outfitted my Panasonic S5iiX with ALL accessories from Neewer because their quality is top notch and they are better priced than the other popular brand accessories. This monopod is no exception. It’s extremely versatile, light weight, sturdy, and provides good stability. It’s easy to use and figure out right out of the box. I love being able to attach my camera rig by just dropping the plate it from the top, whereas my Sachtler tripod has to be slid in from the back. I bought this for run and gun shooting so I wouldn’t always have to lug around a tripod, and I’m very happy with the purchase. I bought mine used-like new condition but unfortunately it was missing the mounting plate. Luckily my Sachtler plate is an exact match so I didn’t bother to do a return, I’ll just buy another plate at some point in the future. Not having to take the plate off my rig when switching between this and my tripod is a huge convenience. I put my camera rig on this, locked down all the adjustment points and made sure it was level, and with the feet out it held my camera up just fine. I wouldn’t walk away from it on a windy day, but it’s one feature that speaks volumes to the quality of this monopod. The head is smooth on pan and tilt, and while I wouldn’t use it in place of my Sachtler head if the shot needs a cinematic pan/tilt, I will be able to use it for run and gun situations. You can even use just the feet and the head for a table-top or floor shot.

I love the storage bag it comes in. I also like to have sturdy tripods around the house to help with filming and photo shoots.

I recently got the NEEWER Pro Camera Monopod, and I must say that it has wildly exceeded my expectations. As a professional videographer, I rely on my equipment to be sturdy, reliable, and versatile, and this monopod ticks all the boxes. One of the standout features of this monopod is its solid build quality. Constructed with carbon fibre, it is both lightweight and durable, With the quick-release plate compatibility, switching between different cameras is a breeze. The monopod also comes with a handy carrying bag, making it easy to transport and store when not in use. This thoughtful inclusion adds to the overall value and convenience of the product when many other Monopods only come in a cardboard box and no carrying bag to store it.Overall, the NEEWER Pro Camera Monopod is an outstanding tool that every videographer/photographer should consider adding to their arsenal. Its solid build quality, adjustable height, quick-release plate compatibility, and portability make it a versatile companion for indoor and outdoor shoots. I highly recommend this monopod to anyone seeking a reliable, high-performing solution to stabilize their camera.5 easy ***** I would give more if I could!

Neewer seem to keep doing it, basically producing high end quality products at a mid price point . This to my eyes is no different. The head is fluid and very sturdy, the monopod feet are very rugged and steady and the overall quality of construction is really good. It’s not as light right as I was hoping due to the sheer quality of the ballhead but it’s still light and perfectly sized for strapping to the side of a backpack . Very good

this comes really well packaged, everything is in plastic bags with air cushion around the head. The carbon fiber pole looks great, and the weight is nice, not extremely light but it is light.Everything is great quality and feels solid. The pan and tilt on the head is smooth as silk, the handle is detachable and can be put on either side of the base. You can remove the feet and the head and therefore have multi uses of all the parts, including maiking a tabletop tripod. Nice! You get all the tools with this to adjust everything so you can make the damping as you like it for use.The QR can be replaced with Ronin RS2 or Manfrotto's QR plate so if you have that ecosystem it will make switching out easy (I haven't so not been able to test)The size of the feet on this mean you can let go and it's pretty much as sturdy as a tripod. Of course you wouldn't leave it unattended, but it's certainly not going to topple over if you let go for a minute to scratch your nose.Really love this monopod, superb quality again from Neewer.

The Neewer. These tripods. Are some of the best I’ve ever used in photography. I’ve been in it for 40 years. This company is dedicated to. Quality. All the way through. You won’t go wrong with this product at all. I use them every day. And they’re wonderful lightweight. Can carry them anywhere. And their practical. Instead of lugging around a heavy old. Tripod. These are awesome. And like I said, you can tilt these. To any direction? That you want. To get the right shot. The height is adjustable. To extremely high level. Which is nice. Everything about it is just heavy duty. It’ll last for a long time. Longer than I’ll probably be around. Highly recommended. Everything I’ve gotten has been wonderful from this company.

The Neewer Monopod has so many good features, it's hard not to be impressed.First is the monopod itself. It's made of lightweight and strong carbon fiber with an insulated hand grip near the top so you hand doesn't freeze in cold weather. The feet can be left up when used as a normal monopod, or they can be easily spread out to make a self-supporting stand. The release clamps for extending and retracting the leg are properly tight and sure, and the individual leg segments slide out and in smoothly with no stickiness. It's a top-notch lightweight monopod and I'm especially glad for the carbon fiber to keep it light and portable for all kinds of activities.Second is the head. The panning and tilting movements are smooth, well-damped, and predictable. The lock knobs are excellent and provide all the tightness you'll need, even for heavier loads. The quick release plate in the kit is fine, but if you wish to use others, like Manfrotto's and those for DJI RS2 and RS3 Pro gimbals (make sure to check the specifics), this head and QR plate system is compatible. That's a lot of flexibility.Third and last is the carry bag. Like so many of Neewer's kits, this arrives in a first-rate travel bag that's not only thoroughly padded to protect the gear, but made of very heavy, durable, and attractive material. The red trim is a nice touch.Do you think I might like this monopod? You'd be right. It's going to see a lot of use. Highly recommended.
