NEEWER BASICS TP16 70.9"/180cm Camera Tripod Monopod

This tripod is sturdy and can be adjusted which is a win win especially if you have a large group. This is a great value for the price. I love the design of the tripod. We used it to take pictures for our Familygiving celebration and we all were able to get in the picture. It came already assemble which was cool. My nephew just had to open it and set it up. It comes with another part which we did not use or show but once it's used, I will come back and update my review if I remember. Overall, I don't have any issues and my nephew gave it 2 thumbs up as well.

I am impressed with this tripod as a great value for your money. I have another, far more expensive, carbon fiber tripod that I love but I wanted to see how one at this price point would compare. It is only slightly heavier than my other tripod, but not enough to be a problem. It is sturdy, easy to adjust and has a couple of nice features such as the ability to pan smoothly with the ball head (there are even scales to help you line up your panoramic shots) and one leg easily detaches to use as a monopod. It also comes with a cell phone adapter and a quick release clip for your camera. In addition, there is a hook on the center post that allows you to add weight - very important for windy conditions. It also has a leveling bubble. The only difference between this monopod and my more expensive model is that it does not have spikes on the feet. It's rated for 17.6 lbs which is adequate for most needs, as is the 70.9" max height. For budget-minded people, this is a great tripod that runs well with the more expensive models.

Previously, I had a different model tripod that is very similar to this, but it had more plastic, and was not that sturdy, so I decided it was time for an upgrade. I am glad I ordered this because this tripod is much more stable than my previous one. The top section, which I use for top down shots, is more functional and has better stability than I had before. This tripod is very adjustable, and folds up nice and compact as well. The only thing I wish was maybe a little different would be that I wish it had a video head instead of a photo ball head, but it does work smoothly and that is easily changed out if I so desire. This is a nice tripod.

This is a NICE tripod! And an excellent value!I unfortunately don't have my mirrorless camera, so I can show the tripods great functionality. I traded for a newer camera, and it'll be close to two weeks before everything is completed. But I can tell you this. I have a much more expensive tripod from a "name brand", and had I checked out this tripod first, I likely wouldn't have bought that one.From a few years of photography, and many years of sky gazing through a telescope, I can tell you that this tripod is well built. The stability is also very good. It has a wide range of adjustability, while keeping the weight to a minimum.This will be my "go to" tripod for some of the rougher landscapes I sometimes have to deal with.NEEWER has hit a home run with this one!

This tripod is impressively sturdy and well made. The legs lock firmly into place, giving it a very stable feel. For heavier camera setups, there’s a handy clip between the legs where you can hang a bag or something else to add extra reassuring stability. Thumbs up to that!It’s a little different from a traditional tripod, so I highly recommend reading the included directions. If you’re anything like me and toss directions aside, don’t. Actually read them this time. And thoroughly read the full product description to appreciate everything this tripod can do. I’m excited to have it and it will be replacing two other tripods I currently own.The tripod also came with a handy storage/carrying bag that’s pretty good and should last. Two allen wrenches were also included to tighten some of the bolts if they should ever come loose.Again, this tripod is solid, versatile, and seems like it should last a very long time. It’s truly a nifty tripod!

This tripod is so light and compact. I am enjoying it so much. It holds my camera which is fitted with a cage, a light, a microphone and a tamron 17-70mm lens. For the price, this is a great buy 👌🏾
