NEEWER TP36 Mini Flexible Tripod

This is a mini tripod that with flexible legs for uneven ground standing or even mount onto tree branches or bars. The legs are filly covered with anti-slip rubber sleeves and rubber tips.it will stay where it standing or stay on bars with no slippery.The tripod head is flexible too. It can rotate horizontal or vertical. All these movements are controlled by the handle. The movements are very smooth. There are lock knobs to lock either the horizontal position or vertical position. There is a level bubble to help find a horizontal position for the tripod head. There is also scale to show the degree of tilt.The tripod head is a standard ¼ inch mounting screw for camera. There is an adapter can attach to the ¼ inch screw for GoPro. In the handle hide an adapter for phone. By push it out and open the arms you can clip your phone on to it. The phone holder can rotate and stay with any angle for landscape or portrait or any angle in between. There is also a cold shoe on one end of the phone holder for mount lights.Please note that the tripod doesn’t have the ability to extend its length. It needs either placed standing on ground, held in hand, or wrap legs on bar or tree branches.It comes with a remote control in red color, and a lanyard to keep it. The remote control is using a replaceable CR2032cell battery.I like the flexible legs and the freedom of control the tripod head. Plus, the quality is very good. It is robust and reliable.Recommend.

This is a real handy dandy little tripod. I don’t think I will use it that much in my home studio but if I’m going out for a hike it will be easy to add to my pack. If something comes up, where I need a long exposure, I will bring out the mini-pod. I tried using it with my SLR and it might be able to work but I think I’ll use it with my smartphone. The handle pops open to provide a phone holder. I have an iPhone 12 Pro Max, with a common size case, and it holds it easily. It will only hold it in a horizontal alignment. But the legs are bendable so conceivably I could wrap the legs around a pipe of railing and get a vertical alignment. The top of the pod comes off and you can use the 1/4” screw to attach a different kind of base. I don’t know what but the option is there. It’s got a bubble level so you can make sure you’re getting a stable looking photo or video. All in all, it’s a great little tripod with a variety of uses.

Being able to mount phones, DSLR and action cameras with 1 kit is nice. The legs are easy to move but stiff enough to hold a decent load. The wireless shutter button is a nice freebie as well.The head does unscrew easily if you want to use your own head mount.
