Great diffuser, too bad their actual lights don’t have enough power to make them very useful, specially for portraits.

Très bon produit, pratique et bien pensé. Le système **One Step Quick Release** facilite vraiment l’installation et le rangement, surtout quand on doit monter le matériel rapidement. La lumière est bien diffusée grâce à la forme lantern softbox, ce qui donne un rendu doux et naturel. Bon choix pour les vidéos, les portraits ou les shootings en intérieur.

It was hard to set up due to it being large and heavy but if you're someone who could handle the weight and you know the lighting effect will fit your style of photography by all means get the big one. You cant go wrong with the quality. I had to return mine in favor of a smaller version cause I plan to use it outdoor.

Update:
Satisfied after successful refund of bigger version. The smaller version is easier to set up and looks durable overall. The only thing is it seems to use thinner rods that hold the shape of the expanded softbox than I recall so Im afraid they'd break (however, these rods are double-sleeved close to where you lock them).

I work on a high volume episodic series, the pace is very demanding and equipment is put through allot of stress, I'll be able to leave reviews on on performance and durability from an extreme scenario! This parabolic softbox is solid. fast easy setups, great soft spread, eggcrate controls spill very efficiently. The quality of the fabric is excellent but the stitching in the seams could be better, worst case scenario its nothing a little gaff tape cant fix. All-in-all very much worth it, the 120cm is nuts.

I purchased two 85CM softboxes to use with my CB100C RGB video lights. The build quality is fantastic, and they are quick to set up and take down. Using the grid makes the light, soft, and direct, great for split toning. I'm pleased with the results.

I'm really happy with the quality and functionality of this product.Also very happy with this specific size (33 inches). Big enough, but not too big that I can't easily use it in my studio.

As a professional food and product photographer, I was looking to add a midsized parabolic softbox to my artificial lighting kit. After researching and narrowing down on a few options, I zeroed in on Neewer’s latest generation 33-inch Parabolic Softbox. I’ve been using Neewer products for years now and I’ve grown to like their quality, ease of use as well as affordability. I will be honest that this product is not cheap and priced competitively with other softboxes out there. But like they say you get what you pay for and it holds true for this softbox. After using the product for a bunch of shoots here are three takeaways.Quick setup and folding mechanism: I am a food photographer and conduct the majority of my photoshoots on location. Lugging around heavy equipment is the bane of every photographer’s existence. The quick set-up and folding features are a blessing saving you a ton of time and energy.Soft and directional light: This new generation light diffuser is deep, yet wide with a silver diffusion coating. It offers two layers of diffusion material and a honeycomb grid for further shaping and directing the light as needed. The softbox produces a great colour rendering index maintaining the true colours that my clients prefer.High quality but lightweight: I must admit that this softbox is huge at 33 inches yet compact enough to sit in the backseat of my Small-SUV. I love how lightweight is so it doesn’t weigh down my expensive strobe light or add pressure to my light stands. Although the ribs are not made of metal these seem quite solid and flexible too.If you’re looking to invest in a great parabolic softbox that produces beautiful artificial light that almost seems natural, this might be the product you’re looking for. It is practical, lightweight, sturdy and super easy to set up. It is a tad pricy but a bang for the dollar.

No matter what light you get you always want to have options to attenuate and diffuse the light. This softbox gives you a couple of options to do just that by having different layers of fabric that you can adjust. It seems like a minor thing but I love that this is so easy to install and all of the components can be easily stored in its bag. I don't have a permanent space to leave everything out fully assembled, so the ability to fold and store neatly away offers a lot of value for me. I am working with a set of Neewer CB60 video lights and this was a perfect fit - really great results right away. Aesthetically this is the most professional looking diffuser I have had - it really makes me feel like a pro.

Setup: The diffuser is pretty easy to assemble, it took under 5 minutes and I took pictures while doing the setup. You probably won't install every layer of diffuser; thus it will most likely be even faster.Setup Speed: Compare to the rectangular soft box where you need to install 4 rods, this is really easier. In terms of setup time, this still does not beat my cheapo square diffuser that pop up like an umbrella, but this is a great quality product with more options. To speed up assembly a little bit, I clip 4-6 of the ribs all around and then push the umbrellas toward the floor, replacing any ribs to go outward, then, apply a small pressure to the bowens mount, all remaining ribs click. For storage, I do the same, with a smaller pressure, I unblock all the ribs in a circular motionQuality: A great quality product, not visible defects. All stitches are double at both ends, which ensure they last long.Overall, this is a nice product.
