Great reflector holder and love the ball head as I am able to hold the reflector at different degrees, and not just vertically. I do worry about the plastic end pieces that clip onto the reflector but so far after a couple uses, all is going well. The ball head allows for the attachment to lay flush to the bar which allows for easy storage and minimal bulk.

Nice hard anodized finish on the part. The built includes parts you find on low-cost lighting tripod, but in this case, it is a prefect use case, reflector are lightweight are not much is required. The weak part is probably the quick clip. The ball mount is sized correctly, the crew is long enough to fit on a smaller rod but mount perfectly on a regular 16mm baby mount, even if they have a screw on top.The quick clip design was wide enough to grip my reversible reflector with no issues with it being zippered.Overall, this is a pretty good addition to my gear, I’ll probably order one more ounce they are in stock.

Reflector holders I have had in the past struggle with an inability to angle the reflector. Especially the clamp style ones. This reflector uses a full length telescopic arm and incorporates a ball head to help angle the arm to the required angle. It makes a difference. It's well made, pretty robust. The arm is telescopic so will fit most reflector sizes. On each end of the arm re little plastic spring loaded clamps to grab the reflector. The first one is easy to clamp. The second side is a little more difficult without imthebfirst end falling out, but you get the hang of it. Once in, it's pretty secure. Its not super compact from a storage perspective but overall a good arm and i would recommend it.

The following is a review of the NEEWER Extendable Reflector Holder Arm. It arrives in a cardboard box with its telescopic design means that goes from a minimum 27 to 47 inches plus has a 360-degree swivel capability. Depending on your requirements and use of a stand to support this, it can deliver reflected light either high or low as required. I attached the ball head to the stand first, then got it as close or near to the required position, then added the reflector as required but due to the assorted ‘joints’ on this arm, there are many configurations it can go to. You can adjust the reflector to suit assorted angles or requirements as this is possibly your ‘invisible assistant’ in some respects. In use it does work well, is quite sturdy and quite at home in either studio-bound or outdoor photography but as I will/ or possibly be using it outdoors at events, possibly an optional carry case might have been handy but none the less this is just an observation, but ‘the Lady of the House’ will run something up on her sewing machine in due course! Overall a well made, robust item that delivers the goods as they say. Highly recommended.

For the money, I think this is a good reflector holder arm. I tried it at home using a whiteboard and it worked great. The holder is mainly made of aluminum with the exception of some parts that are made of plastic. I'm a little concerned about the clips though, these are made of plastic and I'm afraid they could eventually wear out and lose their grip, but again, I'm just speculating. I would probably use this reflector holder arm for lite reflectors. I'm not sure this ball head can hold too much weight. Only time will tell but as of now, everything is working well. If anything changes I will update my review.

Where most reflector arms only have one clip, this one actually has 2. It can hold from the top and the bottom, so I can get much more creative with angles without worrying about drooping. The arm extends out to adapt to multiple sizes of reflectors. It even comes with a solid light stand adapting ball head, so I have an easy way of rotating it without effort. The grips have a strong spring to hold reflectors in place.Overall a great arm.Highly recommended.
