NEEWER PA143/PA144 Phone Cage Compatible with iPhone 17 Pro/Pro Max

This case is a perfect fit for my iPhone 17 pro Max. Can’t wait to use it with available lens . This makes the phone heavier than plastic cases, but they would not support the lens.

I needed a good protective metal cage for my iPhone 17 Pro that also would allow me to attach some lighting and/or audio. This is perfect and exactly what I've grown to expect from NEEWER. I own a lot of their products and almost all are super quality. I've bought these exact cages for my older iPhones (14, 15 and 16). Super simple to setup and put my iPhone in the cage and lock it into place. This cage functions great for protection and attaching accessories. Doesn't interfere with my bluetooth connections. The cage also doesn't obstruct the video recording or quality - which is great.

Another excellent product from Neewer. This iPhone 17 Pro fits the cage perfectly. This product is very well machined and has a precision-engineered design. The phone slides in and locks confidently with a metal latch. This cage allows me to attach a grip, a microphone receiver, a tripod, a fill light, additional power, SSD storage and more. It is very versatile. In most cases, you will need to get the appropriate mounting attachment to go into a 1/4" thread. In the attached photo, my Sony mic receiver is attached to the cold shoe.The various lens mounts are connected to the cage via a hook-and-slot mechanism. It is a very stable way to hold the parts in place. The all-metal construction should stand up to rigorous location production.The iPhone buttons are all easily accessible and usable. Three colored silicone buttons can slip into a notch to operate the "camera" button. The only caveat is that it is easy to crowd the buttons with attached accessories. This cage is essential if you use an iPhone for video production.

There's a few things I love about this phone case. First it's priced really competitively and includes the mount for phone lenses and for a filter. Other brands aren't doing that. It seems very well built and it will function exactly as you'd expect. I like the drop in approach (you drop your phone in from the top) because I don't use a case and my phone can slide right in. It's well designed and I'm ready to rig out my phone with it.The only thing i don't care for is the camera slider button thing design. It's a rubber piece that pops out. It's nice that it gives you access to that button/slider but i lost the first rubber thing immediately. Thankfully they give you a few extras, but a better design on that (which is a small thing, and if you need access a big option to have) would be great.

I upgraded my iPhone from 15 Pro Max to 17 Pro Max and I also upgraded the iPhone cage to the Neewer PA144 as well in order to mount the necessary add-on equipment to shoot 4K Pro Res 422 HQ video. The PA144 has the upgraded rails design to accept the quick release hand grips and a removable rubber push button for the Control Button, comes with 3 additional buttons with different colours. The 67mm filter adapter fits my variable density filter perfectly and securely for the rotational adjustments required to operate this filter. The 17mm lens adapter plate fits my 240 mm telephoto lens and the 18 mm wide angle lens. Also included is a T mount lens adapter which I don't have any lenses to try out yet.
Overall, the PA144 cage is professionally designed and precision machined for accurate fitment for mounting the iPhone and video shooting accessories.
I highly recommend this Neewer PA144 iPhone 17 Pro Max cage.
