If you like to film with your iPhone 16 pro, this cage will give you all of the options you'll ever need. Plenty of 1/4" mounts, cold shoe mounts, and the ability to add aftermarket lenses. It's lightweight and durable. It's a noted improvement over the original version they released last year for the iPhone 15 Pro.
I'm thrilled with this Neewer phone cage! It's just the basic setup, but as a novice in the realm of fancy-phone photography, I've found it to be a great way to start.One thing to especially note, (if you're an overly enthusiastic novice such as myself), be sure to check the size of your filters. I didn't realize until after this arrived that the filters I had (inherited) were 52mm. Not a problem, just had to also get an adaptor (less than $10). This really only mattered because I was so excited to try it and then I had to wait again.The cage feels very secure on the phone. It's very easy to insert the phone and remove it and the closing mechanism locks well. There are numerous attachments that can be added depending on what you want to do. I'm finding this especially dangerous as I'm now shopping for many new attachments that I didn't even know existed before now.I'd highly recommend this phone cage for photography with your phone!
This is a nice cage for your Pro iPhone! It’s got the standards that you would expect, like a bunch of mounting possibilities and cold shoes for accessories. The included plates for lenses and lens filters fit nicely and work well, as expected from a NEEWER product. The whole package is very nice; machined aluminum with cushion and silicone where appropriate.If you just want to play with lenses on your iPhone, this is overkill—you can see how much it increases the size of the phone and in fact, NEEWER offers a more normal case that is compatible with 17mm thread lens options.If you plan to build out a whole kit based around your phone, this is a great place to start!
I love NEEWER's iPhone 16 Pro cage. My phone fits securely in the cage that's precision machined to work with any tripod or video camera rig.This cage has 1/4" threaded mounting hole all around for any and all imaginable congigurations. Great bonus is three different lens mount kit for filters and Moment style lenses.One note of caution - while this cage will fit with clamp style gimbals, the added weight and frame size interefered with gimbal I have.5 stars recommended.
