I didn't really notice when I ordered this battery as a backup that it charges by USB-C. That's fantastically convenient! This will be my new primary battery for my round-head Neewer speedlite, for that reason alone.(I'm not a fan of proprietary chargers. I needed to buy a replacement when I lost the one for my original battery for a short time, but this solves that issue.)This battery also has more overall power than my original. The original I have is 7.4V at 2600mAh (19.24Wh), whereas this one is 7.2V at 3000mAh (21.6Wh). My speedlite doesn't register the battery as fully charged when it is, but that's probably due to its lower voltage. Battery readouts tend to be based on declining voltage. But that doesn't mean this battery won't last as long or longer than the original. And these things last a long time anyway, so I'll only need a backup for extra long studio sessions, since I used my speedlite as an extra off-camera flash.I'm just quite happy it'll be much easier to charge the battery now, whether in-studio or out in the world. Sure, it'll take hours to charge, but I anticipate that and I tend to just charge overnight. It's hard to imagine I'd ever be in a situation where I'd need two recharge one of these batteries right away if I have two of them.
This battery offers a capacity of 3000 mAh and a voltage of 7.2V, which gives me a long life in my photography sessions. I use it in my Neewer Z880 flash and it allows me perfect performance. It allows me fast charging options. I can fully charge the battery in less than 3 hours using a USB type C cable. It has protection against overcharging, overdischarging, overvoltage, overcurrent and overheating, guaranteeing safe and reliable use. Its compact and lightweight design makes it easy to transport and to be able to take it effortlessly to my outdoor photo sections.
I have a Neewer Z880-N camera flash that I love. It is rechargeable and I wanted a backup battery for long photo sessions. This is the original equipment battery made by or for Neewer. It’s a perfect fit as expected. It functions as intended as well. It comes with a recharging cable. I would strongly suggest you get one as a backup if your equipment uses this model of battery.
Works great
100% the same good quality and power than the battery who was included to the flash.
