NEEWER CA008 Top Handle and NATO Rail Kit

Shooting videos has become so much easier for me, thanks to the NEEWER Top Handle and NATO Rail Kit. I’ve found that using a top handle has opened up new possibilities for creative angles in videography, especially when shooting video from the height of my waist, down to the height of my ankles. It’s now a much easier and a more enjoyable task. I like everything about this handle, including the multiple threaded holes - (four ¼” holes and two 3/8” holes), the 2 cold shoe mounts, the NATO clamp and rail, right down to the awesome grip. The grip of the handle is contoured and feels comfortable to use for extended shoots and adds to my confidence in shooting better video. You will need a camera cage in order to mount this top handle. (I need a new cage, as mine got misplaced.) If you don’t have a cage, it will be well worth the cost to buy one, just so that you can use this NEEWER Top Handle. This top handle is solid. Quality feels very nice and strong. I trust it carrying my heavy rig set up.

This provides a handle or additional connection points for a field monitor, microphone, lights, etc. The Neewer quality is excellent, and this product is consistent with other Neewer products I've purchased.It comes with the necessary hardware, is high quality, and does the job!

It's Neewer... I wish they made everything... Excellent materials and manufacturing... Grip feels great in the hand, solid as heck.

Quality: The handle is well-made., no visible defects. All aluminum core with a hard anodized finish, similar to most Neewer products.NATO mount: NATO mount works nicely, the pin makes it easy to snap it in without fear of sliding out. It may wobble a little as the pressure is only made on the back, and not pressing against the front part of the rail, leaving the front loose. I would have preferred the NATO rail a little bit longer as I got a 3/8 screw in the middle of my cage, and I'm forced to offset the rail to one of the sides. With a bigger cage, you may have more row of screws, but for my mirrorless I chose a smaller cage. My cage has a NATO mount on the side, and it works nicely too, allowing for changing the orientation.I got medium male hands (9.5 in around the palm), and the thumb screw has enough clearance for me.

The handle is all-metal construction (except for the rubber coating underneath). The included quick release plate can be attached to anything with one or two 1/4" threaded holes.The handle itself has a huge number of cold shoe adapters and 1/4" and 3/8" threaded holes. Use that to attach a monitor, microphone, lights - whatever you need.This is a highest quality product. Everything is really well machined, and well finished.Highly recommended!
