I’d been looking for a portable RGB spotlight for content creation and figured I’d get this since I’ve had a good experience with the items I got from this brand. I got this a while ago and so far, I’ve used it for product photography and short-form video content, and it has performed really well. The first thing that impressed me was how compact and lightweight it is. It’s easy to carry around in my camera bag and comfortable to hold for extended periods. Despite the small size, the 20W output is bright enough for accent lighting, background effects, and even as a key light in smaller setups. The RGB functionality is a lot of fun to work with. The included colour filters and gobo filters make it easy to create unique lighting effects without investing in multiple accessories. I especially enjoyed using the gobos to add texture and patterns to backgrounds during video shoots.I also really like the zoomable beam. Being able to quickly adjust from a narrow spotlight to a wider spread gives me much more flexibility than fixed beam lights. It’s particularly helpful when shooting products or highlighting specific areas of a scene.Battery life has been excellent so far. I regularly get through long shooting sessions without worrying about power, and I also charge while using the light. It’s a versatile, well built and affordable lighting tool that delivers a lot of creative possibilities for photographers and content creators. I highly recommend it.

As someone who does a bit of photography and video work, I find lighting accessories often fall into two camps: either incredibly basic or packed with features you'll never use. This sits somewhere in between and focuses on the creative aspects that actually matter. The first thing that stands out is the form factor. It's more like a flashlight than a traditional video light, which makes it surprisingly easy to position and experiment with. At just over a pound, it's light enough to handhold for extended periods without your arm feeling like it's had a workout. The zoom function is probably my favourite feature. Being able to go from a tight spotlight to a much wider beam gives you a lot more flexibility than fixed-output lights. For product photography, background effects or highlighting specific areas of a scene, it makes a noticeable difference. The included gobo filters are also a lot of fun. It's one of those things that can sound gimmicky on paper, but they allow you to create patterns and effects that would otherwise require considerably more equipment. If you enjoy experimenting with creative lighting, there's plenty to play with here.Colour quality is good too. The CRI rating means colours look natural and accurate rather than having that slightly odd tint that cheaper LED lights sometimes introduce. For photography and video work that's something I appreciate more than flashy specifications.Battery life seems respectable as well. Running a reasonably powerful LED light inevitably uses energy, but getting several hours of use is enough for most shoots and the ability to charge while using it is genuinely useful if you're working for longer periods. The build quality feels solid for a budget-focused product line. The aluminium body gives it a more premium feel than plastic alternatives and it seems capable of surviving regular transport in a camera bag.One thing worth noting is that 20W is useful for accent lighting, creative effects and smaller setups, but it's not going to replace a powerful key light if you're trying to illuminate an entire room or large subject. That's more a matter of understanding its intended role than a criticism.Similarly, while the RGB effects are fun, I suspect many users will spend most of their time using the standard white light modes simply because they're the most practical.Overall, this is a surprisingly versatile little light that offers far more creative flexibility than its compact size suggests. The zoomable beam, gobo filters and portable design make it particularly appealing for content creators, product photographers and anyone who enjoys experimenting with lighting without investing in a full studio setup.
