This stuff is thick, and it does have a protective film on both sides. It also cuts really well with a laser cutter, so if you need precious cutting or specific shapes, it works a treat!

Cut out circles for use in solar spotlights . Need to cut 2 pieces for each to get color , that I wanted. Remember to peel off the plastic coating first. I didn’t the first time and they became cloudy after a few days after getting wet from water splashing and watering plants. These are Led lights and don’t get hot in use so I can’t say how they will work for any thing else though. But after cutting 2nd set of circles for lights they work well. And look good at night

Hi there I got this mainly for video recording and photos for my clients and personal use. Yes you'll see a dent in the filter that was the mail man who stuffed it in my mail box. It doesn't bother me because it's not noticeable when it's apply to the light. (Neewer 660 Bi-Color 3200-5600k) I love it. I didn't do all the colors I wanted to show you how it looks on the light. I use regular tape to stick on the screen protector for the light. The filter are perfect don't forget to remove the plastic. And it seems to be finger print proof- no smudging.

These gels made all of the difference in making my sets pop! If you saw the before images you would really appreciate how adding color spices up a set. I used ordinary fluorescent bulbs and a Sony A6300 for these images. Note that there is a protective layer of plastic that you peel off of these gels. Also these gels will kind of "melt" if they get too close to a light bulb.

Only making this review because I’m going to re-order more right now. This is my first time ever using colored gels after just learning about them, and attached photos are used with no diffusion for my godox led lights, and i am a super beginner at gels so keep that in mind while looking at lighting quality, if any room for improvement it would just be me amd my knowledge of how to use it. Super easy, i used green frog paint tape to attach them to my led, no heat lights (it was most convenient). I am very happy with their performance and am buying more to try out more cool things.

I used these with 2 (24” x 24”) soft box lights and black cardboard to block out the additional light and I shot with a 50 mm 1.8. Boy let me tell you, I got some amazing pictures with this lighting/color gel set up. The plastic cover on the sheets themselves is starting to peel off, which isn’t the world’s worst thing, but it is slightly inconvenient. Otherwise awesome!
