This adjustable arm holds my phone firmly in place with no noticeable vibration when shooting videos.Three double-ball joints allow flexibility and the clamp holds the arm assembly to my desk. At first, I found that the attachment to the clamp had some ‘slop’ to it, but after using the included Allen key to tighten the base (put it into a hole in the thumbscrew), that issue was resolved.The phone holder is quite stiff but holds my Samsung S21 Ultra with case without issuesI much prefer this arm compared to some of the flexible mounts that I’ve used in the past – it holds in place better and prevents vibration.

Wow am glad to come across this which will be definitely come in handy to set up in places or just to simply to get a different angle for taking a picture or a video as I find this hold my cell and clamps 🗜️ perfectly fine on my office desk that I have where I take some shots so and by the feel of this I feel it is meant to last. With that said from what i see and feel I see a very good value for a person money .

For tutorials, I need to shoot my keyboard as I work in addition to capturing what’s on screen. I’ve tried so many different setups… the closest I got was using a gooseneck mount but they were so stiff and difficult to position precisely. This magic arm allows me to easily position my phone so I can capture footage from the best angles.I haven’t come across a phone/camera mount like this that’s so versatile. The dual ball heads at the joints make it so practical for a variety of applications. Such a great design… and the quality is premium.Overall, I’m never disappointed with Neewer's products in either performance or quality.

This adjustable arm instantly solved a big problem I've been having with on-line meetings - I have double-monitors on a sit-stand desk, and often need to reference smallish screen details while having a conversation. My camera was mounted to the top of my monitor, and I found myself either keeping the screens unnaturally low so I could be at eye height for the meeting, or having the camera shoot the top of my head so I could make out screen details. This unit lets me position the camera anywhere and at any angle I want almost instantly. I'm still practicing the best position for my purposes, but if this won't solve the problem, it's not solvable.As far as the unit goes, it has 3 sets of really clever knobs that allow you to position each segment pretty well anywhere in 3 dimensional space with the twist of a knob. The bottom clipped onto my desk very firmly, and the top mounted to my camera with no fiddling. This is a very well made camera stand, and should last for a long time. Highly recommended for office or home.

I took these clamps for subject matter photography. I typically do it with a phone but for some occasions I pull out my Canon Camera.These clamps are very sturdy and well built. I have a couple of other Neewer products and every time I was impressed with the quality and high-tech look.These clamps are following established standards and are fairly heavy.Joints are affixed with screws and stay in place very convincingly so I would even be comfortable to put heavier equipment on this mount.However, on the downside, because joint clamps bind two points, you will need to put it in the desired position and then strengthen screws without any equipment. As soon as you loosen the screw, the affected arm is completely released. As a result, once you affix it, there is no ability even for slight movements for fine adjustments with positioning camera. That might be a little bit inconvenient.So to summarize, if you don’t need fine tuning, just put it in a fixed and rigid position - these will be perfect. Otherwise, if you need to approximate so you can fine tune later - not so flexible.Final verdict: 4 stars
