I was not prepared this big chonky boy when I opened the box. Never knew they made grips this big and strong, not even sure what the use case is. This will hold my fully rigged fx3 with a vmount, itll hold my 600w lights, I’m pretty sure it’ll break my desk before it itself breaks from the weight. Take a look at my pictures - it’s bottle as tall as a water bottle and it’s jaws would fit the width of a water bottle. The articulating friction arm is similarly well builtOnly con is I can’t imagine many scenarios where you’d need this strength, and to be honest I would’ve taken a slightly longer articulating arm over this heavier solid metal tank they sent be - but I’m not complaining. Definitely a good arm; really needs an actual better product manual though. Holds up a ridiculously system that is unwieldy in weight distribution that hangs off of my desk.I don't have a single problem with this other than there's a lack of a product manual, it seems that only the primary knob on the arm is what allows the joints to move around freely which is a bit of a pain when trying to move an extremely heavy system as it can flop around and go limp when trying to get the right positions.Otherwise it goes above and beyond for expectations; I was honestly worried it wouldn't be able to carry my setup or lock down to my desk properly with how heavy my setup is given that the weight is all distributed vertically and partially horizontally, but it can lock up perfectly without falling.Worth the money paid for it, I can't state it enough.
An outstanding marvel of precision, all metal construction, fully adjustable, heavy duty, non-slip, camera arm. Oh! Yes! … I like it very much for macrophotography of static objects. 🤔 😀
