Description

  • Easy to Read with HD Display- Thanks to an innovative coating technique, the high quality beam splitter glass ensures 75% light transmittance. With its adjustable hood and leading technology glass, the text on your tablet is clearly reflected onto the high definition display of the teleprompter. The reflected text can be read up to 10’/ 3m away. Note: It is NOT compatible with wide angle lens and the focal length of camera lens needs to be more than 28mm; Not for phone shooting
  • Upgraded Smart Control- The NEEWER teleprompter supports intelligent control via the included RT-110 remote control and the NEEWER teleprompter app. You can easily pause, speed up or slow down, and turn pages with just one simple press. Pair the RT-110 remote control with your smartphone in our NEEWER teleprompter app via Bluetooth connection, rather than a direct Bluetooth link from your smartphone or tablet
  • Effortless Assembly- With clear instructions for installation, the teleprompter can be set up within minutes. The collapsing design allows for easy storage and transport. The dual cold shoe mounts and 1/4" threads on both sides, as well as the full body of aluminum alloy, make this teleprompter lightweight yet durable enough to hold your camera, tablet, microphone, LED lights and other accessories in place while making videos
  • Wide Compatibility- The teleprompter can fit all models of smartphones or tablets up to 9.84" x 8.68" / 25cm x 22cm, compatible with iPad iPad Air iPad Pro 11", etc. Its lens hood can be adjusted to suit cameras and mobile phone lenses of various sizes. The first thing you will notice when unpacking this is the hard carry case - this should protect the teleprompter when you are transporting it - and it makes the device look high-end. The teleprompter was well packaged, the glass has a protective film on both sides to prevent scratches, although I did worry I was going to scratch the glass when packing it back into the case. This item is heavy, but it does allow you to adjust how you mount it so that you can balance it. I fitted it onto a Manfrotto travel tripod with a Nikon Z7 and iPad Pro 12.9 - although I recommend a more substantial tripod especially if using larger cameras. You can adjust the part where the camera fits by raising the height of it, and also being able to lower the screen, this should allow a range of different sized cameras to be used.It comes with a remote control that you connect via bluetooth. I installed the Neewer Teleprompter app which allowed me to reverse the text so that you can read it from the screen. I used a 12.9” iPad Pro which fitted perfectly into the adjustable section to hold the device.

This teleprompter which uses your tablet works really well with the app.Setup was relatively easy and doesn't seem to move when the tripod is moved around but there is a possibility it may angle down if heavy handed so best to set it up and leave it.The filter works really well and there is no vision of the text from within the cover and the image is bright and clear. The app allows you to change the size of the text and colour for ease of reading.I would say my 11" tablet was maybe a little small as I had to make the text quite large so if you have a larger tablet or maybe an external screen this would work well. The remote is responsive but clicky and doesn't include batteries. It comes in a good case and is protected but putting it away is fiddly as you need to have the glass at the correct height to clear the shoe when folding up and if you cont keep the foam you may scratch the glass inside.

It's a very simple piece of gear.
For sure the quality could be upgraded but I'm very happy of what I get for my money. It does the job just fine. I tested it twice yet and it make me save so much time.
Definitively one upgrade could be a square remote.
Every time I touch it balance for few seconds on my table witch could be heard over the microphone.
But other than that, I'm very happy.

A great purchase as it was a last minute thing, just a little on the expensive side. Rest the quality of the case, portability, easy to set up. Ps: for people who think that it’s electronically handled, no. You need an iPad which will reflect its screen onto the prompter.
