It's been a great addition to my recording tripod. Ideal for content creators, presenters, and videographers looking for a professional yet affordable tool.The screen is clear and easy to read. Its HD beam splitter glass reflects the script with crystal-clear clarity and without distortion. Reading the script effortlessly is a huge plus for maintaining natural eye contact with the camera.It works with smartphones, DSLRs, and mirrorless cameras. Additionally, the lens hood is compatible with wide-angle lenses up to 28 mm, which is ideal for wider shots without losing quality.It has a quick-release camera mount that makes switching between the teleprompter and a tripod or gimbal quick and easy. This is a noticeable improvement compared to other models that require manual alignment.It comes with a Bluetooth remote control that allows me to manage the script from the app, adjusting speed, font size, and navigating with silent buttons. The app works well on iOS and Android and is free.It folds completely flat, making it easy to transport in the included case. Perfect for recording in different locations without complications.

I haven't tried the previous version of Neewer's teleprompters but I've always liked their more compact design. This one is also great because although the 9" model is smaller than a lot of other ones, it still works nicely, but you just have to choose the right one for the job. It might not fit the entire screen of a larger tablet but as long as the text remains relatively central to the device, it still should work fine. The reflection works well.The unit is pretty solid and I really like how it uses rail systems for adjustments and setup. It feels less clunky than something that is more typically assembled in individualized pieces. Well, not always but some are definitely a bit more annoying to set up.It is a bit more expensive though. Not an absurd price or anything for the price, and especially considering it comes with a remote. While I'm not necessarily the biggest fan of Neewer's teleprompter app, it does work as intended. The UI isn't pretty but that's not exactly crucial to the use of a teleprompter! Even the stuff you see on TV is often very basic formatting for ease of reading.Overall, I think this is a neat product, with great portability partially thanks to its included carry case.

I was looking for a teleprompter that would function well with both mobile and dslr connection capability, and I have always trusted the NEEWER brand before. Fortunately, this 9 inch sized teleprompter tool was no exception.The X1 Pro II appears to be an update to an original offering by the company. All I know is that is a very durable all-metal construction with many adapters for a variety of camera lenses, and all the pieces you need for mobile phones also. It has a remote and can also work with an available app. It has everything I need to quickly setup a teleprompting environment to be able to act and feel more natural and professional when creating my videos and also when live conferencing.A perfect edition to my setup. 5 stars.

I have an older version of this product and there are quite a few differences between them. This unit has a much smaller screen than the previous version but that makes for less eye wandering during filming. The smaller surface area of the screen keeps your eyes more centred and prevents the audience from being able to notice your eye movement while reading. The problem with the smaller screen is that I had some issues with aligning my iPad to get the whole screen to project. It is possible but it's a little finicky. This unit (unless you are using it constantly) will need to be broken down each time you want to put it away but the procedure is quick and easy. The side and top shield are held in place with magnets which quickly snap into place and quickly remove. The quick release feature of this teleprompter is great and works extremely well. I just wish that the actual connection was more universal for tripods because now, when I am done with the teleprompter and need to use my camera on the tripod, it's a big production of removing my tripod connector from the teleprompter and removing the teleprompter connector from my camera and reversing them. A more universal mount would have been a bit better instead of the proprietary one that they provide. The instructions are a little on the weak side and you will have to do some playing around to figure some things out and the information that is provided is printed extremely small, making it hard to see. The remote works extremely well and is a very handy tool to have in case the words are scrolling too fast for you. The simple controls makes it easy to use without having to look at the remote. The app works very well and it is easy to upload a word document from your computer to the app. Just don't forget to flip the image in the app, or you won't be able to read it on the teleprompter. All in all, this is a great unit that works very well. You will want to get your camera close to the glass so that you don't capture the edges of the teleprompter in your shot. The hard body case that it comes with to protect it is also great. Although mine arrived damaged, it is still useable. A great improvement over previous versions of this product.

First thing that we need to note this this product is that it is not designed to be, or replace a full-sized teleprompter unit - this is a portable unit with it's own use cases.This teleprompter would be great as a portable device if you are on the move as a larger model would be more practical in most situations where you have the space to have a fixed unit installed. A perfect use case would be if you are streaming or recording content while on the move, outdoors, in public places, anywhere that you want to quickly setup get your content completed, and move on.The product itself is good as is expected from the NEEWER brand.- Build quality is good with metal used for where it makes sense- Design works well for quick assembly and disassembly- The app works, but it can be a bit annoying at times - good news is that there are other apps that you can use with this device on the app stores.Overall, this is a good portable teleprompter backed by NEEWER's solid support.

The app is free and can be downloaded on the app store.Pros:Effective for Video & Streaming: While small if is functional for short scripts where you don't need a telepromter operator.Remote Functionality: The remote control, when working correctly, streamlined recording with easy speed adjustments.Cons:App Issues: Several users reported having problem with the Neewer Telepromter App. I have not used it extensively, but never had a problem with it. And there are plenty of telepromter software out there, this one is free so no one should expect much out of it.Build Quality : For home use where you will set up this and leave it, it will be fine for the long run. If you have a mobile setup that you need to set up and take it down every time, I don't know if it will last long. But in the price range there is nothing much better out there.Price point: is in line with other telepromters. There are bigger ones for the same price, but this is a matter of preference. If you are fine with a small screen, then this one is perfect. If you need a bigger screen, then other options more costly will come into play.Overall is a good telepromter in this price range. I'm a full time filmmaker and a professional telepromter will cost you thousands of dollars. So this is VERY affordable and will take your production value up several notches, and this is why you are looking into this, correct?
