NEEWER NP-FW50 3 Pack Replacement Sony Battery and Charger Set

I recently got this battery and charger set, and I have to say, I'm impressed. There are a few things that stand out for me, and other folks will appreciate them too.LCD Screen: First off, the LCD screen on the charger is super handy. It shows you exactly how much charge each battery has left. No more guessing games or waiting around—I just glance at the screen, and I know where things stand.Three Batteries Included: The fact that this set comes with three batteries is a big win. I’m always on the go with my camera, so having extra batteries ready to go is a lifesaver. They work just as well as the original ones that came with my camera, so I don’t have to worry about running out of juice.Fast Charging: Another thing I love is how fast these batteries charge. I recently got a NEEWER charger for a larger style battery and liked it a lot. So I thought I'd give this one a try. I'm equally happy with this one.This will supplement a different brand charger that I like and has served me well, but I like this one a bit better for some of the small details done right.Supports both usb micro and usb C, very nice - if it only had one port (picture 1), I figure at some point I'd bring the wrong one with me. It's nearly identical in size to my other charger but can charge 3 vs 2 at a time. My old charger just has a simple not ready/ready LED (top of picture 2) while this one has a more detailed "fuel gauge" (picture 3).To initially charge the included batteries took only about 2 hours and they came (according to the charger) about 50% charged. As expected my camera ran just fine from one of the newly charged batteries. The batteries Amp hour rating falls between some other after market batteries I have, but no matter the rating, I always carry several spares as they are, after all, small batteries.When I come home with a good handful of depleted batteries, it will be nice to be able to charge 3 with my new charger and 2 more with my old if needed.Highly Recommend.

NP-FW50 batteries are not my favorite batteries, but I still love to shoot with my Sony a7rii and my a6000. So having good batteries to keep these two cameras going is key. My old Sony OEM batteries have reached a point in which they will not charge to 100% and with the age of my cameras, I don’t want to spend top dollar on the OEM batteries from Sony.Neewer is an amazing company that produces high quality products and they did just that with these batteries. I don’t remember how long my batteries lasted when I first bought my a7rii but I can honestly say today that these Neewer FW50 batteries last more than twice as long as my exhausted old Sony batteries.The image quality is still great on the a7rii and a6000 so I use them for personal projects and when shooting for fun. I couldn’t imagine getting rid of these 2 bodies because of the poor state of my old batteries.The Neewer charger that comes with this set is nice. I still have my original FW50 chargers but its bulky size makes it inconvenient to pack around or even have both of them plugged in just to charge 2 batteries. Now I can charge 3 and have it placed conveniently so that I don’t have to bend over just to cycle batteries through charging.Neewer did a great job with this charger and batteries, and if you still shoot the older Sony mirrorless bodies, then these will serve you well as it is for me.

The two OEM and two 3rd party NP-FW50 batteries that I have been using for the last 8 years are showing some age. I shoot using the EVF all the time. I also review some of the images through the EVF and then transfer pictures to the phone. So, I hardly get 100-150 shots from a full charge. I end up using 2-3 batteries if I shoot all day. And the charger I have can charge only one battery at a time. So, it is no fun charging the batteries one at a time especially while on a vacation.This NEEWER charger set solves my charging problem. And with the three extra batteries, I can now shoot at least two days without charging a battery.The NEEWER NP-FW50 replacement battery and charger set includes a charger, three batteries and a 22” long USB-A to USB-C cable. The charger is well made, it has two charging ports, micro USB and USB-C. It is great to see a backlit LCD screen that shows the charging status of each battery. The indicator displays the charge as soon as a battery is inserted. I am glad they provided a USB-C charging port which I think should be a standard for all devices.OOTB, the batteries had 60, 68 and 79% charge. I charged them before using, it took around 90 minutes to charge all of them. The batteries fit snug in the charger slots. It charges the OEM and other 3rd party batteries as well. The NEEWER battery works fine with my Sony a6000 camera. I do not have any numbers to compare the life of this battery against the OEM one. With my shooting style, all I can say is that the NEEWER battery lasts longer than my old batteries.I now own at least 10 different products (flash lights, video lights, stands, adapters etc..) from NEEWER. Except one, all have been of excellent quality, they make good products. If you own multiple NP-FW50 batteries, this charger is a must have, a time saver and I highly recommend it.
